this is most definetely NOT the same PDVD source as the TCF rls. it is, however, a PDVD source and not a dvd screener. slightly better resolution and motion handling than TCF, but not as bright. i'd download this one if i didnt already have 420,666 different copies of this flic. go see this in the theater if you havent already... its worth at least a matinee

video-9
audio-9
movie-10 was awsome, can't wait for Vol 2!

Would have to agree with both the comment and the votes.

To clarify. DEFINATLY not the same source as TCF.
Video wasn't the best, colors were a little off(bright/mist?)... i dunno something just didn't seem right with it in a lot of places.
Audio was not bad at all, but if i remember correctly there were several BEEPS to block out words, names i think, dunno but it sure pissed me off.

Not a bad effort however. Would definatly be open to a DVD SCR PROPER, but i wouldn't see the point. Restail/Pre will come along soon enough.

And to linxy, notice that release says TC (as in telecine). The two sources could not be any different. And if you were implying at all that it was released as a means of 'propering' any mistakes in this release, well then you got a lot to learn i guess.

Clearly better than the TCF one, but the colors were misty. Still waiting for the non-cropped rls...

lol, was this a joke? Earth to ^Om3n, that's how it sounded in the theater too.

I am aware of this, the point was, wtf? lol
I mean, there must be a reason it was done, but i can't figure it out, it adds nothing to the film. Infact it just seems to annoy.

If anybody can explain the reason and purpose of this i will gladly eat my hat (please note that i do not own a hat)

Her name is bleeped as a homage to "The man with no name" spaghetti western revenge flicks. They use her name unbeeped in the second Vol (at least according to the script) and Bill actually says her last name in the first few minutes of Vol 1 BK
There are so many releases of this film, and not one ver in full colour. Methinks there must be a Japanese release floating around somewhere.....

Thanks for the info HaLiKuS. What do you mean not full color? The B&W scene at the beginning?

And also the part in the restaurant (or whatever) where it goes b&w.

Regarding the bleeping, we also find out her name by reading her plane ticket (as a poster from a ways back astutely noted) and by reading the iMDB trivia page.

The black and white scene at the beginning is intentional in the film, color would spoil the scene imo. As for the other scene i don't remember seing that in the workprint, but i dont have it anymore to check. Could be intentional too ? Actually probably not, i don't see how the dramaticness of the scene would differ either way.

I'll ask the same question that I asked for the fujitive version of Butterfly Effect...why is this NUKED? This was by far the nicest copy yet...clear video, great sound, nothing at all wrong with it. Just look at the quality ratings...over 8 for video and audio. No watermarks, no scrolling messages, nothing. What more do you want? This arbitrary nuking has gotta stop...it's just comical that you people nuked these 2 titles with some of the pure shit that you leave up.

:: ENOUGH WITH THE BITCHING ABOUT NUKES. We aren't the ones that do it, and the people that do don't care what you think. -K::

It's a message board...I'll write about whatever the fuck I want to. Ban me if you don't like it. I'll release my IP and get a new one, register a new name, and keep doing it if I want to. Eat a dick.
