1. Your an idiot.
2. TCR are better than that, they will not PROPER a release that cleary(going by the votes and posts in here) does not need to be propered. The best you can hope for would be an internal release by them, if and only, they feel there copy (if they even have one) is in some way better. And even that is unlikely.

Judging by the jpg image the picture should be straight and since its not fullframe and the entire subtitle in the jpg was in the screen, i assume that no subtitles are cut off and that it doesn't have as much of a zoom as the other two releases.

Can anybody confirm?

Nice release. Looks a little funky round the edges and a bit too far over to the left.

Even still, way better than the other releases.

8/9

Great....Amen to Centropy and welcome back...I hope you guys are here to stay...or are you just passing through to get some sins off your back with doing Christ some justice with a great telesync...
Either way...its a good...release...its a shame that the camera moves around and zooms later on. Also people moving around in the beginning. Also whats the deal with the end just cutting off missing a good 1 min and 11 seconds of importance...not good for your return CTP..might want to repack cd2..

Yes u are correct, all the subs are clearly there, less zoom. If you look closely the cropping on the bottom was just to make sure they got the subs in, so they set camera lower, and cropped the bottom up. (good thinking there)

This release is sweeeeet. nice crisp pic, very good sound, and from what I seen, the subs are not cropped out.

I knew something good was gonna come up...and sure enough it did.

judging from sample

a very nice ts and a good comeback for a great movie.

7/8/9.5

release HAD to be cropped.. it was zoomed out more than usual to get the subs. better cropped than truncated subs since the movie was ALL subs. The quality bar just keeps getting higher

Based on CD 1, this is first-rate quality. THANKS and WELCOME BACK (?). Unfortunately, I suspect that CTP is just messing with our heads. But I'm okay with that.

This is actually the same original source as the other two versions, but the difference in quality is astounding. I didn't realize how badly these original sources were stomped on by the time they get to (or leave) most groups. No one can be that bad, or good, at encoding, can they?

I don't know how CTP does it. They're like a good magic act.

Are you kidding me? You think this is the same original source? CTP has their own cammer. This is definately not the same crap source the other groups released. In fact all 3 groups had a different source.
Anyways Great release CTP glad to see someone is paying attention to quality. Good movie too by the way.

The best sound of the three releases. Good job Cen.

Having just downloaded and skipped thru the first CD, I must say Thank you Centrophy! Definately not going to be able to proper this one! The cropping doesn't appear to miss any of the screen, and didn't bother me at all.

TPOTC re-review...

After watching the entire movie. This release sucks. Sure the picture is sharp, but:

1. the ending cuts off early

2. the picture changes colour all the time. even going b&w

3. the moments of crappy audio were annoying

4. people moving round at the start was annoying

Based on a re-rating of the whole thing:

6/5

Posted by Moloko_Plus on 02-28-2004 08:44 PM:

Im actually going to have to agree with Mystic Slippers.

Also I might like to add: When i play the first cd, it crashes WinDVD, PowerDVD and Media player classic right in the end All giving "Cannot end program" errors, instead of properly ending. This happens when i mount the image with alcohol 120%.
The black and white/color/blue switchings are rather annoying.
I havent gotten to the 2nd cd yet..After playing it in PowerDVD the whole computer crashed, had to reboot. In total I was able to watch about 40 mins of the first cd. I know it wont happen on everyones computer and it probably wouldnt happen if i burned it on cd, but why kill my drive when you can just mount it (and have it crash)?

6.5 Video (color flickers are terrible)
9 Audio (whenever it decided to not "drop out" without reason)
10 Movie
5 Playback (sorry, ill be getting a different source..If it doesnt play properly i have no need for it) And this is a 120 minute movie, why is there only 2cds and the first one is 40 mins?

This isn't up to par with CTP's usual standards. Its been about 5 months since they did a TS too.
So..Looks like im going to wait for another one. Wonder if TCR will proper..

I'm sitting here wondering if the last couple of posters watched the same release I did. My CD1 is 58:53 so I don't know where he came up with 40 minutes. Also, the only thing missing from the end is the screen saying "Directed by Mel Gibson" and I think we all know this by now.

A very watchable release, much more so than the other 2 releases.

8/8/10

How anyone can rate this lower than 7.5 can’t be watching this release. Colors vary at times, but if your watching the movie and following it its hardly noticeable , takes 5 mins to adjust camera, then is perfect through out, no subs missing at all in the whole move, audio is excellent, drop outs you can count on one hand.

Movie was very good, better than expected from the script I read a while back, not a movie you can just watch off hand, must pat attention to details.

Overall I’d rate this 8/8/8 no reason I can see for another release unless another source (in that I mean Telecine or Screener) and welcome back CTP, if I was a betting man than I would have had some cash on this movie to come back on with all the press its receiving, so they can add a little more now your back!
