-- The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King *XviD* *NUKED* - DVDRIP - BRUTUS (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=36475)
Does getting the new codec really fix the problem?
yes why else do you think everyone says it fixes the problem? i had the whole bad frame rate to when i installed xvid 1.0 and turned off xvid through ffdshow it ran perfectly.
Also yeah the movie has nothing cropped but ap does seem to be squished a little nothing to bad
The codec worked!
Thanks
Since this release does have bad AR, how come there hasn't been a proper of it? Seeing as the Centropy's DVDR is untouched, it should be ok for someone to do an XviD rip from the Centropy DVDR surely?

Just use something like Zoomplayer that lets you specify an aspect ratio. That's what I did and it looks great.

They shouldve had mp3 sound and kept it to two CD's!
looks good 2 me using zplayer and changing the aspect ratio, 9/9
This should have been nuked not just for bad AR but also for using packed bitstream in XviD RC2.
It won't play on my stand alone without jerkiness and it's not audio interleave or preload.
The Movie plays too slow about 1 fps. You only notice it if you compare the Movie with another Version of the Movie.

I compared this to the diamond release. It appears to me no picture is lost.. so wouldn't a simple resize to 640x272 with a program such as virtualdub fix the AR problem ?
hm
in the NFO at the DiAMOND - Release (Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King *AC3* *XviD* - TELECINE - DiAMOND)
RESOLUTiON : 640x256
I think BRUTUS used this as reference ....
I doesn`t see any Problems , the only possible Problem is that the new options of XviD has been used ... huh how can they do that *ironic* ...
I think that I have readen in the rules that always the newest CoDec has to used.
What fuckin maniac surgested that this should have been released as 2 disk with mp3 sound rather than 3cd ac-3 ,are you simple do you use 2 speakers on your system or something or carnt you afford to spend out on an extra cd-r,
anyhow very nice copy will be keeping this 1 in my collection
thanks brutus!we like you
Great release! Loved it!
10/10/10!
Best movie ever...!:-D
