Excellent release from these BRUTUS, personally this was te second best movie of last year, after Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, but this release is amazing, got it on DVD-R after hours of converting, but it's worth it
I doubt this copy would look good on a 42" plasma. The bit rate is far too low, I mean the movie is 154 minutes long people! Ok, ok I admit it looked like a pretty terrific conversion on a standard definition telly (25"), but there are clearly imprefections which were inavoidable simply because a movie which is 154 minutes in length needs to be 3 CD's for a near optimal bit rate (a constant Q2 encoding will actually give a bigger files size, so 3 CD's isn't excessive at all), especially if you're going to keep the AC3.
I'm gladly converting my DVD to 3 CD's XviD/AC3
