I thought it was pretty good qualtiy. Sound is a little muffled in my opion and the video is alright but not the best. All in all a good release. 6/7/9

Posted by crackerjax on 03-28-2004 07:24 PM:

my fault .... ThP and FTF have the endings, and from what I've seen this one, nor do any of the others have the endings ...

if I'm wrong, I'm sorry ... but I've watched almost every release of this movie, and ThP and FTF have something at the ending that the rest do NOT.

Clarification: this one is missing some from the ending!

Posted by stevensly on 03-28-2004 08:05 PM:

After watching the first cd, this is by far the best of all releases.
The video is watchable, but cropped, almost boxed in, but the audio unlike the others doesn't have the audience as part of the movie.
I haven't seen the 2nd disk, but if the ending is missing......

Confirmed:
The movie stops right where the credits begin. Unfortunately, the credits carry the ending.

Posted by Slizz on 03-28-2004 08:28 PM:

The ending is not missing. It goes all the way into the credits. I watched this thing from beginning to end and it is all there.

I watched this yesterday evening and the ending is there. How can it not be when it ends exactly as someone posted "in a boat" and the credits start to scroll??

Some of you are getting as bad as the people voting from the jpgs.

This copy is definetly watchable, as I did, and didn't find any reason not to watch it, and the ENDING IS THERE

Slizz obviously you didn't go to the theaters and see this movie. And don't know what the hell your talking about. There is more of the movie past the credits you dummy. When we state the ending is missing we are talking about how the credits start and then stop, and the movie continues past the boat scene. Then it shows more credits and stops again. And shows more of the movie. So like stated many times before from people who saw it in the theaters. The f..king ending is missing. Enough said!

Just been to see it in the cinema (had to do an hour and a half journey to get there too, local cinema isn't showing the damn film, £10 journey + £5 ticket. bah) and yes, the ending does go on in to the credits and I would say this copy is missing the proper close of the film.

After about 5 minutes of the credits the film does pretty much stop but there are still snippets of zombies between each credit list, but not a continuation of the plot as with earlier in the credits.

The english in that post was terrible.

Posted by eboskie1 on 03-28-2004 11:51 PM:

yes the ending after the credits is missing

Good watchable copy..
Even though the orginal Dawn of the Dead movie was better.

7/7/7

Posted by K-FurY on 03-29-2004 12:18 AM:

decent quality, pic is full screen, so alot of cropping obviously, colors are abit washed out, pic is abit faded, but other than that not too too bad. sound is alrite, kind of hissy, but decent. will be waiting for a decent release tho.

6/6.5/x

dude your acting like a smart ass spend you eight bucks go see the movie then you would relize that the ending plays during the credits so there for to see the ending you would have to have all the credits which this copy does not so before you go running off at the mouth next time do your homework!!!

Posted by DoxxY on 03-29-2004 10:49 AM:

Pretty good.

7/7/8

Video is nice, audio is nice and movie is good. About the ending it IS missing but not to worry I think they added a little 80 meg 3 minute mpeg file that shows the ending.

SPOILER

Now I can talk about ending....
I was hoping they would find a island and live in great confort. With out the worries of zombies. But instead they give the predictable ending, guess it is horror film. But would have been nice to see those people live and not get terriozied by darn zombies in the end.

AND GO see this movie in your local Movie house!!

Posted by Loafboy on 03-29-2004 11:14 AM:

Any release (even a CAM) would need to have all the ending credits to make this movie complete, without it you are missing a bit.

Saw a the cinema and i'd give the film an 8, thought it was gr8

Wow, how many rls does this make for this movie LOL 4. This is ridiculous where are the good SVCD TS Proper's at this point. Pic is grainy and cropped. Sound has slight hiss. Movie absolutely rocks and ending not that big a deal really. I gave up and watched in the theatres. Thanx for the attempt at a proper, but, I whole heartedly agreed with Blue Neo, i think I'll wait for a Screener of this one at this point

6.5/6.5/9.5

This movie has some great action and gore. I hope those of U who never go to theatre take the plunge its worth it

Posted by BlueStar on 03-29-2004 12:57 PM:

People are being retarded and saying the ending is there because they've watched a vcd where there is (what you assume is) an 'end' and then a credit. It does look like the end (people started walking out the cinema at this point then everyone stopped) but there are very important clips of footage throughout the credits which show you what happens after the film ends.

It's probably not critical of your enjoyment of the film, but it changes the outcome of the movie.

CD2 is out of sync, sound to picture. Use TMPGENC advanced settings /source range / audio gap correct, set to
+370 to correct the out of sync.

This rls looks about the same as the imperial rls except this one is not interlaced and has a proper AR. That makes this one better but not by much. They look like they are from the same source. Not much need for this one if you have imperial but if not this is the one to get. It's kinda funny that the not so good FTF Cam has the full ending and the so called proper TS doesn't.

Didn't notice it at all, even checked but it looks perfectly in sync to me.

Good movie, ok rls. Watchable... but that's about as much credit as it gets.
