quote:Quick question, how exactly do you do this, not used tmpegenc much...
VideoCD release can be easyly fix by rewriting the headers of CD1 with tmpegenc.
http://raash.abe2k.net/svcd2vcd/
this all happens after you mount the bin file
unless someone has come up with away to rewrite the vcd headers of an image file?

^^^ worked! cd1has no freezing problems now.
yep gave it a try, works great just missing ending now. I will just grab cd2 of some other somewhat viewable release.
how much of the ending are we talking about? a few seconds or a big chunk?
its missing like 45 sec of ending, no dialog, no biggie
hmmm... after you fix the major problem with the release (cd1 freezing) this is great quality.

Release is great and problem easily solved. Good job videocd we all make mistakes sometimes.
Same damn version as the vcd copy ..same ass wipe standing in front of the camera on exact same scenes...just better audio and some adjustments to picture...
7/9/?
Also the videocd version is missing exactly 3 mins and 37 seconds of the movie before the credits alot of plot was in those minutes so its a imcomplete version..no matter how great the quality.
videocd
9/9/? too bad about the ending

vcd released a proper ts. grabbing it now. can always count on vcd
well i tried that fix but i think it made the mpg too big, did anyone else have this problem?
even if the ending is missing, trust me take the videocd release over any of the others, once the freeze issue is fixed.
this: 6/6
videocd: 9/9
movie was ehhhhhhhhh

It's been so hard
but I can't let it die
Turn my head up,
looking at the stars
So many years,
I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly
I watched this release on my big screen last night after I fixed cd1, this is missing alot of the ending. Where it cuts off makes no sense. Anyone know exactly how much is missing?
GRR
Why do they release movies if they are not worth viewing
Just finished sapling the movie in some spots and the Video and audio is outa sync in this release near the end of each cd..
v :5 A 3 Overall no clue havent waatched it 100% because i wana see it not watch it as a bad lipped kung fu movie
can anyone tell me why VideoCD's releases haven't been appearing on this site? I've been getting all kinds of new movies from them - excellent quality ....TIA
not worth the fuss
this movie is not worth the trouble of downloading anyway.
NE1 know of this one:
"Day After Tomorrow-Proper Cintax SVCD TS LD(www.webmarder.6x.to)"
Looks like an SVCD TS release from Laserdisk, or am i way too optimistic?
Found this 1 on suprnova btw...
Picture ok but sound
Sound is very bad. Picture is good for a vcd..But the sound is like they are talking in a tunnel..
i can never get anything from videocd to work. seems that all their movies are PAL encoded. which doesn't play on my dvd player. it's black and white and just rolls. so if ya could...anybody, tell me what would be the next best thing to download?
