a very intruging documentary i must say, really makes you think and question your beliefs.

video - first release, is stated as a CAM therefore it does what it says. Picture is zoomed in but this does not particularly detract from the viewing experience apart from some of the subtitield moments. Once it got into the film was a decent quality, camera was still, slight tilt. Is very pixellated in the opening title sequence however. Havent seen this in theatres so was unaware that 30mins (correct amount?) is missing, however previous posts have now informed me of this.

Audio - has a nasty hiss to it, lower ur treble way down to contradict this, but it is still noticeable, particulary in quieter scenes.

Movie - ahhhhhhh well im not a big fan of politics however this documentary was a real eye opener for me. And as was stated before in a previous post, the facts must have a degree of truthfullness or the Bush's would be sueing Moore..... you decide..... a definate one to watch, however id wait for a decent TS.

I saw this in the theater before I downloaded it. I have to say that this release is not worth watching even if you have seen it in the theater.

The sound and video, although good for a cam, is missing tons of important information and with the sound entire sections of the movie.

And as others have said, it cuts out at least 30 minutes of the flick, which are argueably one the most important parts of his arguement.

Wait for a more complete release or see it where it is meant to be seen.

Anyone know when a better copy will be released?

I just noticed the Pariot Act scene is missing, when Moore goes around on the ice cream truck read it aloud. Anyone have any more scenes?

We just might have to wait until this movie is released at blockbuster. Or go pay n see it.

Moore Supports Film Piracy

I just read an article...HERE

Moore basically says that he doesn't agree with copyright laws and encourages piracy of his film as long as it's not for profit.

I'm not one to be picky about movies that I watch for free but I draw the line at cutting out parts of the movie! According to IMDB the running time is 122 min and the duration of the CAM is 104 minutes so 18 minutes were cut out. Its pretty obvious why it wasn't in the NFO. Forget nuking the release (which it should be) the fucking group itself should be nuked! If I knew who they were I'd turn the fuckers in myself! Does being the only current release a movie make it immune to nuking? I'm pretty new to this scene but I would think cutting out parts of the movie would be a good reason. If they had cut part of Spiderman2 or LOTR they'd be lynched. I guess they figured they could get away with it with this movie it being a documentary and it not playing where legitimate rippers live.

BTW that white line thing on top of the screen was only in CD1.

ok obviously ^ hasnt dl'd but so much, its a cam, missing parts are almost usual, i woulda wished the missing parts were there too as i didnt think the cam was all that bad, but to say youd be a snitch cause you are dissappointed in a free product

that really does cross the line, be a snitch cause u dont get your way or what u want, ive tried to not play into the usual bickering here, but that was an ignorant comment... when u smoke that bud of yours imagine if some1 were to snitch you out... point made, once again nice cam, but obviously stuff is missing, that sucks, but not a snitchable offense....

Yeah I guess you're right. I was really angry at the time. However I made no comment about the quality of the release. Only its incompleteness. I didn't know missing parts were usual for a cam. I've watched alot of them and never noticed any missing parts. Although I didn't know this cam was incomplete until I read it here shortly after watching it. I guess that explains how people can nitpick about releases which are basicly perfect (eg VideoCD's Spiderman 2) and not care about incompleteness. I'm still sort of a newbie anyways.

well, since f911 only opened overseas like 2 days ago, there may be a ts or better coming soon, so quit bitching.

a little zoomed and most subtitles are missing or cut off. slight hiss on my speakers when playing. other then that great for a cam. but id wait for a ts. good movie makes me hate bush through.
