um yeah, it is the best release so far, kinda does look like a videocd release, is a lil grainy but is highly watchable, and the audio is spot on. nice work ctp, not ur best, but the best out there.

8/8

and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

I was thinking that too. It seems dissing CTP is the cool thing to do these days. People used to get pissed at everyone being sheep and saying CTP is 1337 just for the sake of it. Now the sheep whine about CTP.

As for the release 7/7/Not watched yet.

since when does a group not releasing for one week mean they disappeared? some people never cease to amaze me with these comments...

anyways ill give the picture a 7.5 and the audio a 7 this is a better release then FRA's but still this ctp telesync doesnt even compare to telesyncs like The Sum of All Fears and the Spiderman ( one ) ts they have produced in the past... Will watch the movie though its produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Antoine Fuqua ( Training Day and Tears of the Sun ) only thing that worries me about this movie is its no name cast...

You are joking right? The names:

Clive Owen
Ray Winstone
and
Keira Knightley

Mean nothing to you?

Got to admit that I reacted to that too!
Maybe not Keira Knightley, but Ray Winstone??!?!?!?
Dear, oh dear.......a sign of the times I fear!

Anyway.........not ctp's best, but watchable.

Well seeing as they havent been releasing is a first hint, Centropy has been releasing second hint ... and the obvious King Arthur Ctp has french subtitles! Ding Ding ... have we figured it out yet ?

Heard rumor floating around IRC that VideoCD's lost a source. (MIGHT STILL BE RUMOR). Normally wouldnt post but lets look at facts:

1) VideoCD hasnt been releasing since Spiderman 2 (strange)
2) CARTEL (xvid ts grp) always released a day after VideoCD's SVCD TS's ... why cause its same source. (not re-encode) No VideoCD , only Centropy but yet still CARTEL ..
Fahrenheit.911.SVCD.TS-Centropy
Fahrenheit.911.AC3.5.1.XViD.TS-CARTEL

3) King Arthur has french subs.

Now it doesnt take much to add 1 + 1 =

VideoCD could bust back out and make an ass out of me ... but i kinda doubt it, was fun VideoCD , now if only Centropy could get a better encoder!

Just what i was thinking apart from 2, which i didn't know about

I recon this was from one of videocd's sources, though CTP don't usually use others sources though apart from the passion of the christ, i think i remember hearing that

Posted by rappa on 07-15-2004 05:25 PM:

Im watching cd1 now, im 20 minutes in, theres no opening credits, the subs are there and they seem french, or atleast another language....i dont see much croppage though, but i can't tell because theres no opening credits

The subs are in french, as in within the first 15minutes, 1 subtitale says like 100 BC or sumtin, and then the next one says 15 ans plus tard...which means in french 15 years later, so just to let u no the subtitles are in french.

Also, the ending is not missing, it shuts off right after it says Directed By.

movie in whole = its ok,not what i thought it would be, but cool

This isnt out in France for 6-7 weeks so thats why VideoCd havnt grabed it yet.*considering mystic said ctp wasnt back with the t/s they starting to knock some out

6.7 (bit green)
7.5 (not bad,but not great)
8 (good film)

Posted by gfavored on 07-15-2004 07:49 PM:

Hi everyone,

I see firefighter is the only one that can add, lol, but there is still yet more to the equation, lol, compare the intro of Centropy's Spiderman 1 and then VideoCD's Spiderman 2, lol, add the French source and all that firefighter has added and well.... it's not too hard to figure out.

Posted by desertboy on 07-15-2004 08:33 PM:

This is a very average TS's (For the standard of TS's at the moment) best release of this movie but still not very watchable.

I'd give the video a 6, can't comment on sound only downloaded the sample at work on a piece of shit machine with no sound card.

Think I'll give this movie a miss anyways it looks like a pile of shite.

I can't believe after CTP's recent TS releases (Which have all been decidedly average (Better than a lot of the mislabelled cam's FTF put out)) people are still ranting on about them. No disrespect of course to CTP just the fan boys piss me off.

Posted by Red0ut on 07-15-2004 08:57 PM:

lol take it easy people. give the groups a little break, did anyone tell you that your getting all this shit for free.

Posted by ShinBone on 07-15-2004 09:24 PM:

grainy, lacks color a bit, sounds good

7/8

As others have mentioned, the french subs do seem weird, being that videocd always has them.

1st time in history? Ctp has put out plenty of crap ts movies before. IMO, their last good ts was Terminator 3. After that rls their movies last summer were pixelated to crap or had horrible frame rates. Their The Passion of the Christ was actually a pretty cruddy ts, too... For all their good ts releases, they've also got their share of stinkers, too.

Holy crap people, calm down, this is just a scene, its not life.

Leave these groups alone, only time will tell.

Just watched the CTP sample, seems watchable, but about the subtitles, eeeek, not sure if thats going to work for me. Seems a bit cropped, but nothing too too bad.
