Don't you think it's kind of obvious?

Green tint traded for the blur.

Mystic Slippers: both releases are from the DTS so how do you rate one an 8 and this one a 10? I just listened to the same scene in the internal sample as in the first telesync. They sounded identical went I viewed the scenes back to back. Audio still seems too low.

LOL i think the DTS bit is a little missleading casue there is no way none of these carry dts track

1) if it was in dts most people wouldnt be able to play it on there pc/stand alone as it wouldnt revert back to 2 channel stereo.

2)The amount of cds per film to carry 2 sound tracks would have to increase and i cant switch audio when its playing so i guess there is only one audio track on the disk

DTS as you all keep refering to is the fact its a direct plugin to the theater sound system not a proper DTS sound track as in 5.1/6.1 etc

The movie still looks blurry but like its been said the sound is good.

8/10/3

very nice release, crappy movie, nfo has the word shit in it.

Posted by Air1 on 07-18-2004 08:23 PM:

zad:

the DTS thing means they got the audio for their camera in the theater from a DTS *SOURCE* meaning they got DTS disc(s) from the movie that are sent along to a theater and used them though didn't encode them in DTS. rofl, a DTS track wouldn't even FIT on a single CD-R let alone with any video on it at all.

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 07-18-2004 08:23 PM:

omg this shit is terrible....again pot wins with sound, still alittle low..but the video is f..king horrible. What the f..k is up with the green tint. The contrast is f..king high, and the picture is blurry and pixelates during movement. Man stick with FRA cam. Pot is still losing points for even trying to pass this re-encode off as a svcd telesync. Horrible release again.

4/7/9 movie was good. Too bad most of these releases aren't.

-Videocd is gone as far a telesync's
-Centropy is back but releases are to the shits.
-Will TCR or Fujitive make a guess appearance.
-or will TUN return with another fake Telecine....

ok;..shall i now give my opinion so at last u will read the comment of a dude that knows what he's talking about and is very objective:

video:. If you tune ure tv with a bit more color etc then it's watchable. It's not bad but definately not the quality that gives me a boner. It's watchable and nothing more.

audio: yes;..this is good. Dont think it's DTS but ok. It's still easy on the ears and therefor a job well done

movie: yes it is an american blockbuster so you can expect the same idiology as in other flics like this;.. A.I etc. But this movie has had so much bad critics and that is not right.

Overall rates:..well i personally find the video more important then the audio. So:

6/9/6.5

Posted by UltrA1 on 07-18-2004 08:45 PM:

No WAY...
wish I know how to fix the video like re encode for a better looking video personaly.....
everything is starting to look green.......... picture is to much, looks better the the rest.
wow !!!! svcd internal ok.. anyhow I hear a hiss in audio but it's clear driect dts cool.
a-7.8
v-6.2 my min requirments
due to no ctp or vcd grp rels maybe, I'll keep this copy..
movie 8.0

5/9

pic

Posted by Koolice on 07-18-2004 08:53 PM:

ill take blurry over green tint

FAO Ms

The reason i only voted the sound 9 was although the sound was DTS source the level quality playback on my TV was too low.

Just because they say its DTS, dont make it an actual 10 does it now.

here endeth lesson

Audio seemed low to me on the first VCD.

Maybe they used a different level for this one? Maybe i was drunk? Maybe Miami will win the world series?

Who cares.

It sounded different.

The end.

Posted by Bravo on 07-18-2004 09:31 PM:

Unless they have a new way to do DTS sound there is no way to put this on a svcd. The sound file would be too big. This is a direct source converted to mp2 sound. Please stop saying dts and just say direct sound. Put on a factory disc and you will hear the difference of what true DTS sounds is.

Posted by Heph on 07-18-2004 09:50 PM:

8/10/8

Superb Audio. Video not discernably different from the VCD
version. Oh well , not much new out atm anyway if you want
to DL it.

The only real complaint I had before was that the pic was a little dark. I never thought it was blurry. But if they brightened it up, ah reckon it's worth a peek.

POT-- your rep is growing.

Miami doesn't have a baseball team, and if you mean Florida Marlins yes they already won the world series, twice!

6/10/? from sample

the tint is really annoying. unless i can adjust it with wmp or something i'd rather settle for blurry. sound is nice though.

Posted by dc_man on 07-18-2004 10:27 PM:

Alls I can say is if you want to see this movie don't watch the sample. Ruins the whole flick. GJ, POT
