Very dark, but it's a dark movie. I actually saw this one in theaters, though.

The nfo states that SG18 uses silvers, but so do maVen. They just have a DTS supplier, but their video source is the same as VideoCD's.

This was actually a decent movie, if you disregard the major plot errors, especially with Waylan.

Also, never in the history of the Alien series has a Xenomorph ever taken on physical traits from the host in which it gestates. That was my major gripe about the film. Another few technical issues; namely, the short period of time in which the chestburster pushed out of the host. Usually it took up to an hour after regaining consciousness.

I also think that the Yautja (Predator) actors needed to study the first two films more, because they moved like high school football jocks, as opposed to swift, menacing hunters.

Video is a little grainy. I'm just judging from the sample, so I'll give it a 7/9/?

The sample was a little dark. Maybe the quality will improve in other areas of the movie

Stop taking the piss ,its always nice to view a jpeg dont you think if i was wanting to rate on audio and video on this maven release i would get the sample dont you think????

Nice release. A tad dark though. I know it's a dark movie and all, but it's really hard to see whats going on at times. All in all, good release maVen.

it was a joke dude don't get upset. jsut alot of people look at jpeg and say " well great video and audio was so so" gay stuff like that! besides even for rating video the jpeg is not that great beucase its a still frame. so you can't tell if their is motion blur and ect!

Dude, if they were typing in Egyptian Sandscript, I could care LESS. The fact of the matter is that they provide us with high quality telesyncs, and THAT should be what's most important. I'd rather see bad english in the notes and high quality ts's than perfect english grammar in the notes, and crappy ts's.

After Skimming through CD1 decided that im going to wait till nighttime to watch this. Not super excited to see this but meh what else is there to watch ... This copy is dark dark dark dark dark, but thats cause of the movie ... wait till nighttime to watch this. During fast moving scenes you get some motion blurrness, colors seem ok and crop looks ok also. Sounds good per usual bit soft had to crank speakers a bit. Overall nice TS and copy to pick up.

Intro sounded like porn music - all good though

i liked the whole in dept history about the aliens and the preditors but the end got really far fetched . the cg was nice though , i gotta say pretty dark but the audio is clean

That's not my point .. they think they're the shit and all, and if they want other groups/people to read their nfos, they better make them legible.

After watching sample.

Just what we expected from maven ,picture is nice sharp and audio is excellent .it carrys a high contrast within the picture but definatly the best release out
