NUKED: re-encode.of.LRC.XviD.1.week.ago

Yes, it is a reencode, but it still looks pretty good.

Posted by arcane47 on 08-19-2004 09:47 PM:

I still have not read anything on this DVDR release of this movie

hey smartass, this is not a TS, therefore I will STILL be trying to get the good groups to hook us up with one... you see bud, if there is demand, then the groups provide the supply... a little economics 101 for ya! and I'm pretty darn sure that I'm not the only one who wonders why there was never a good TS/TC of this movie, and still hopes for one...

...

don't you just love it when people, like those above, say things just to make themselves feel important? yep.. me too! lol..

now, back to the main point: where is that mystery DVDR version listed and/or reviewed? or is there no such thing and this is actually a re-encode of the DivX workprint, and not some mysterious dvdr version?

Limited movies rarely see a good ts/tc release. And you wont be seeing one for this movie now. Get the workprint its perfecto.

All I can say is thanks for your posts, you made my day. I still haven't stopped laughing. Supply and demand? Can you explain to me how exactly that works when there is no money to be gained? Sounds to me like you were only half paying attention in your Economics 101 class. I'll repeat it again, groups are going to get whatever they get regardless of what a leecher with less than 50 posts on a message board "lobbies for". Sorry to knock you down a peg but that's just how it is. Trust me, you're not nearly as important in this whole thing as you seem to think you are. lol.

And what makes your post 100x funnier is that on the one hand you're supposedly telling me how the scene works, and at the same time you don't even know how to find a release that's been out for over a week now. Go back and check BT and XDCC again n00b, maybe it's on there by now.

DOH!

In any case.. this rls looks fine to me. Audio is really nice, but pictures a little fuzzy.

hmm... maybe YOU didnt pay attention in econ101 my un-ed-u-bih-kated friend. supply/demand is not limited to transactions involving money... and this may be too far out there for you to fathom, but neither is "cost." I suggest you pick up a Dummies guide perhaps...so thank YOU for tha laughs Bigg...

as to that "PM" you just posted lorddusty, i've got a bridge for sale as well... thanks for the half-assed attempt to make us all laugh!

that said, I guess my sources are slackin, because nobody i know has even HEARD of the dvdr version... oh well... so it goes... i guess Bigg and Lord are just too "733t" for me...lol.

"hey! let's measure postcounts and epeens! woot!"

tools.

How about this

1) STFU
2) Remember the rules, you are supposed to post about quality
3) If you wanna argue take it to PM

But this has been the fuckin funniest thread!

Posted by Cypher on 08-19-2004 11:50 PM:

Loved the movie.. was laughing the whole time. Whether this be a re-encode or not, it still is good quality.

8/8/9

As for paleh0rse, you might as well stop now before continuing to make yourself look like an idiot while beating the dead horse, thanks.

burn! 7/7/8, suprisingly enjoyed this movie... there were two kids exactly like ND at my high school, so it's funny to watch this on the screen, even if it's only a PG comedy.

"Napolean.Dynamite.LIMITED.WORKPRINT.NTSC-DVDR got released 10d 7h 27m 9s ago"

Just checked that..

Rest assured it's real.

Not gona grab this TUN rls since the CAM will tide me until the actual dvdr.

Cheers.

Posted by EViL-EWoK on 08-20-2004 03:05 AM:

wow, soo much shit over this movie. lol
and its a wp.

I think vcdq should stop accepting new users, we can hardly handle the ones now.
Plus now we are getting more losers.
people bitching about the scene
and who is uber leet
and who has better "0sec" hookups

lol forum fights are fucking halarious.
just proves who is a weaker person.

I'm honestly not sure when it became a nuke reason to re-encode somebody else's release. TDX2004 allows it (although that's for divx, as long as the dvdr isn't compressed) and it's pretty common practice.

exactly, the latest TDX rules were compiled by lamers which is why early last year none of the more established groups decided to participate including DVL/ViTE/DEiTY/DiAMOND/TheFrail/etc... scratch that "established" part and replace it with pregroups
