hahe

thanks for your life story there, too bad you couldn't get in, sucks to be 16 i guess sucko...

trust me, you didn't miss anything.

8/8/4

good rls, solid audio and video, no need to go more indepth, as for its al lbeen covered so far.

The movie itself, on the other hand, was a pathetic waste of my time and i want my time back, and all the b/w i used to snag this release, oh, and all my h/d space back that i wasted uncompressing it.

8/7/4. This film is fucking boring, the gore and shocks seemed tacked on (don't people know that films can be scarier with a thing called "tension"), the build up gets tiresome and the tortured children bits are so over used that you just don't care anymore. The end suggests a sequel I really hope they don't make any more.

When someone does a decent Open Water (maVen??), get that it's far far better.

nice rls. just got this one. video is nice a few people poping up in the movie but i can live with that. the sound is their normal great quality. haven't watched much of this but this movie looks good.

8/8/?

Guy prints it out and won't give the tickets to me and my friend cause we don't have ID cause we're not 17 yet. Happened twice before with Dawn of the Dead and Troy (but with Troy the guy at the door didn't let us in cause he has a grudge with one of my friends and he was letting people in younger than us too). God damn AMC. I turn 17 in a couple a months and shit like this still happens. I can get in Fight Club when I'm in the 6th grade without a parent but I'm 16 and in the 11th grade and can't get in a movie. Plus I don't do gay shit during the movie. Hell if my friends start talking loud during a movie I tell them to STFU. Anyway my friend's sister was going to see it at another theater so he called her and we just met up with her. Movie starts at 8:05. We get there at 7:45. She doesn't get there until 8:05. By the time we got it me missed probably about a minute of it.

erm why do we need to know this? no-one gives a shit really

picture is nice, a bit blurry, but other than that it is very nice. you can see everything and its just good

audio is good apu

movie is prob going to be sheeyat as all the other franchise movies have been.

Here here hadrian. I check VCD every day for this release and still nothing. I had a look at the CAM but just wasn't worth it. I though by now there would be a good copy as it was released in NA on Aug 20th. Sigh, just have to keep waiting and watch this sh*t in the meantime...

lmao @ first few secs of cd1 fuckin people get to the theaters on time! hehe... anyways same good ol quality from maVen as expected and audio.

8/8 .....

This would be a quality flick except for the fact that its years after the original and its supposed to be a prequal. WTF are they thinking? Don't mess with something thats good. THe movie is directed well. and edited to a tee and thats the only reason it sent chills down my back. I've only seen the sample, but it looks nice. There is a little bit of cropping if i remember the scene correctly, but nothing too bothersome. Colors are great as always from maVen. Props to them 8/8(very crisp)/6

I figured I was gonna get a couple like you. I was just bored and felt like saying my outrage against movie theaters.

....uhh it was a prequel so if you follow the track it comes before the original Exorcist.

ts dvdrs

ive allways wondered why groups dont just release it on dvd dont encode it to mpeg go straight to vob from the dv wouldnt this improve on the quality.. this is 2004 and its not like weve got 4x cd recorders and dl on a 56k modem or at least give us the option of having it on dvd without having to encode again...

i dont use a floppy disk no more and im using a cd less now i pay 27p for 4x ritek dye disks that burn 8x speed on my flashed 107s

im paying 13p for a 52x cd now a film fits on 2 cds that 26p same price as a dvd......

i know i can get dvds and cds cheaper but im happy with the quality i buy...

i can remeber when everyone was moaning about films being put on svcd but this improved the quality fucking hell i can remember when films were only put on vhs and betamax......and the quality then was really shit......

oh the film 8\9\7

but people do have bandwidth limits and so if everything was rls on dvdr it would take up a whole load of bandwidth and cost far too much. this is why ts are not rls on dvdr

Posted by 104 on 08-23-2004 10:34 PM:

im not saying release all on dvd just give the option of it. it is the future... b\w limits are getting bigger ive got a 3Mb dl with no limit to how much i dl.... there is allways divx and xvid... but it could improve quality... look how centropy got slagged off for doing the first svcd ts and now its the norm people were moaning about 3 cds and the extra b\w then but the quality was improved... why hold it back

I convert all TS's i DL to DVD, friends all have fussy Standalones...If they didnt i would never re-encode,..Re-encodeing VCD to DVD is like sticking one goldfish in a 50 Gallon tank.
