Just scanned thru to see if everything is fine.

HAs anyone else had trouble converting to DVD?
I can get it on cd just fine but it gives an error when adding cd2 to dvd.

I first coverted it to mpg with isobuster then went to add to nero vision express 2 it says cannot add cd2. Also tried with svcd2dvd, says directory does not exist.
I even tried 2 different sources, both same problem.

Any suggestions?

i got it on dvd fine ---- 8/8/7

I tried that myself, no success...
NeroVision won't accept it --- TMPGEnc will but gives error, then when you try to process it, it shows invalid format...

It shows PAL and it says "The video resolution of 480x576 cannot be used for a standard DVD"

CD one worked fine in Nero... it shows NTFS with 720x480 resolution...

btw way, that my rating is 8/8/x

Yep, i've got a problem with CD 2 converting to DVD as well.

Extracted Mpeg with ISOBuster, if you then play the film through Windows MP or Power DVD runtime will come up with 130mins, actual runtime of the film is 43.10 on CD, so when converting to DVD you get problems,.

I'am just gonna grab somone software and cut the SVCD Mpeg down to size if possible.

Release wise quality is good, 7/8 easily, but i've had problems with most of VideoCD TS realese going onto DVD, where as none with Mavan's.

is this the same film that was shown 5 years ago called KING COBRA? . anyone throw any light on the subject?

Posted by Rizel on 09-02-2004 07:55 PM:

Just fixed this problem now with Tmpgne, go to media tools, merge & cut, select the mpeg of cd 2 then edit off the last mintues .

Once done load up in windows MP and runtime will come up with 43.10 instead of 130 mins previous, should convert to dvd fine now for those with problems.

Took a while to get this thing going right, but once I did, it was GREAT. I noticed no cropping of the movie like some people complained about, but then again, there was no way I was going to go to the movies to PAY to see this to verify it. Had to do some "maintenence" on CD2. The sound was slightly off. Had to move it up by 120 ms with TMPGEnc plus. At that point, it was perfectly matched. Also, noticed that the bitrate of CD2 was MUCH higher than CD1. When converting them both to DVD and running them through TMPEG DVD author, it wouldn't accept them both as being "the same" in their conversion to DVD format. CD1 was 720x480 and CD2 was 352x240. So what I did was convert CD1 as 353x240 and the same with CD2 (and make SURE that you choose "low resolution DVD" for BOTH, otherwise they won't work together!) as well as fixing the sound issue. At that point, they worked fine together, and the quality was barely compromised. It looked GREAT on DVD!
Video quality was VERY NICE. Some people said that there was slight motion blur on the sample, well it was so slight, it wasn't enough to even be concerned about. The colors were VIBRANT as all heck, and the brightness and contrast were right on point. The audio was needle sharp....FLAWLESS! Crisp and crystal clean! It's too bad that with this quality level, the movie itself was really bad........

Video - 8.5
Audio - 9.5
Movie - 3

Video was pretty good, a little dark in places and had a couple heads.

Sound was perfect!! (A+)

Movie was a lot better then I thought it was going to be.
Not quite as good as the first one but, pretty good.

I didnt see this movie on the silver screen but w/ this release I almost feel I did. Kudos to videocd.

As always another great release by VideoCD. I guess I have to find another client that can pick and choose which files to dl. I also had to dl the whole thing then dl the repack. Oh well !!! who cares, its not like it hurt anything anyway. I'm just wondering why VideoCD didnt edit the 1st torrent after they did the repack? anyway. Great job VideoCD.

Movie Sucked! Crap. crap. crap...No wonder none of the original characters returned...total poo..

Video - 7 (kinda dark on some scenes--but could be the movie- I hate these movies with dark, caves, rain scenes..Gimme a break! Why cant it be sunny!)

Sound - 8 dead on--no problems

Movie - 3 - crap--as i said. Dark, dreary, bad story, bad plot, bad acting, need i continue?
