I watched this in theaters, AND this release. I can confirm that it is missing a scene at the end, where they are in the cave. its not THAT BAD, but like, still.

i dunno, still watchable. missing i'd sayyyyyyyyy 2 minutes worth. or 5 min at most. all it is is from the walk from the hosue to the cave . bout it.

otherwise, nice and quick release haha

o yeah, in the begining intro, the camera mans battery runs out, and he switches batterys lol
its funny. peace!

6/7/7

Just watched this 1 and for most part the quality is ok for a cam that is until you get near the end scenes were it's near on imposible to see what's going on. (very very dark)
Sound has the usual cam hiss which comes and goes but it barable.
What really spoils this release for me though was that there is 14 mins MISSING! i read a comment by a guy here who claimed to have seen it at the movies and said 2 mins were missing and that it wasn't an important part so i thought i could live with that. but it turns out that a whole scene is missing and to me it was important as it was the build up to the finaley. Maybe some of the 100mins run time includes the credits so maybe not 14 mins of the actual action is missed but you still can't fail to notice that you have missed a portion of the movie whilst watching.
Quite how this release has not been nuked for this totaly amazes me, as compared to many of the trivial reasons releases are nuked for (max bit rate for example) this 1 should certainly have been.
5/7/7 (might of been higher or lower if i had been able to see the whole damn movie)
86mins total runtime for this release BE WARNED!

To finish my rant on a happier note..
The 1 thing it did have going for it was that there are no heads in shot thru out which made a nice change.

Waste of time to get this release. Went to see in theatres and what a dissapointment this was, how many times are we gonna see this movie??

5/5/1

Watched on a 27 inch flat screen TV

Video: 6 (annoying diagonal lines that do clear up after a while)

Audio: 6 (a perisitent hiss when played back through external speakers)

Movie: 8 (rather good performance by both Robert Deniro and Dakota Fanning).

Thanks for the release.

Tom

Those we my sentiments exactly. This movie was very good. I think dakota should recieve a nomination for it (don't think she will though), she is the most talented young star that has come on the scene in quite some time. She dominates every scene of that movie and gave an oustanding performance.

I'm really quite suprised that so many people hated this movie.

fwiw, i didnt watch whole film, just the parts ppl were complaining about.

1st up we have a big blue screen with Low Battery warning that comes up about 3 or 4mins into CD1, only about 20secs of footage is missing, and there is no dialogue or anything relevant...only a sky-shot of a car driving thru a forest.

CD2 at 31:23 has scenes missing right as the woman stares out the window at the forest. Comparing against the -COBRA rls, the missing part is 1min 6 secs long. If you must know what it is cut:
the woman stares out the window into the forest; De Niro walks from house to the cave...chasing the little girl. little girl hides behind a rock, De Niro thinks he has her, but she disappeared, De Niro kneels down to pick something up out of the water.
---this is where it resumes

Wouldn't seem like much....but if you didn't see it in theaters or have another copy, its an annoying chop; ...girl looks out window in a house.....chop.....then some guy opens up a music box in a dark cave

*note, there may, or may not, be other missing footage at other parts of the film.
