Until now, there was only one other version and that TS has horrible video quality. I watched it and it had a hard time keeping my attention due to the poor video. Well, at least it kept me awake on the flight line, still it sucked. This release is clear and the sound is good.

V-8.5
A-8.5
M-8.5

Sound

I'm getting a fairly loud hissing sound on this release... i'm using media player classic like always. Even with powerdvd it's there. I tried playing dvd's other vcd's... no hissing...just this one.... having a hard time reading and believing that the sound is great.. maybe at low volumes but not at higher volumes.

from sample

much beter than any other release. it is a vhs screener, and wasted time has once again lived up to expectation. nice work, keep up the good job.
audio 8.0
video 8.0
movie 5.0 (watched the previous version with subs)

8/8/5

The video is good
The audio is more than acceptable
The movie comes short...

Nice work

Movie was decent, but i guess i didnt get my hopes up to high when i heard what the name was going to be, pretty nice screener,

erm , guys .. of course this is going to be a little bit blocky & grainy as Darkness pointed out. Remember this is a VHS SCREENER ... not a DVD SCREENER.

Once again Wastedtime comes out with a very nice Screener. Wastedtime Screeners are much better then the 10000 gen Screeners by other groups (pV/VideoCD to name a few) which look like CAM's or Silvers.

This Screener was much better then the Silver TELESYNC crap that was released a few weeks prior , at least this was watchable.

Watermark didnt bother me and finally got through this movie. I feel sorry for anyone who paid to see this movie. Elektra was about as good as Catwoman was , which isnt saying much. My highlight of this movie was Jennifer Garner skipping in a tight top . At least, thanks to Wastedtime i got to watch this before retail came out, and i now know ... like Catwoman to avoid purchase or downloading the DVDR.

As a VHS Screener:
8/7/1

Any of you having trouble watching? Video stops at roughly 14 minutes where Garner is messing with what look like toothpaste in the bathroom...

great release for this type of action film. There were fast scene pixels and motion blurs, but not bad. Picture was nice and bright ( unlike Daredevil filmed at night). Storyline was, well, typical Marvel stuff, give us all the history and the actual movie in one show with room for the sequel at the end.
v=8.5
a=9
m=8

these guys definitely deserve kudos for getting ahold of such a nice screener -- one without any of the annoying scrolling messages and such.

they also decided to go the whole vcd route. the nice part about a vcd is that you can watch it on your tv. the bad part about a vcd is that the picture resolution is so damn low you would never want to watch it on your tv.

an xvid release would have provided twice the resolution and half the file size, and enabled these folks to show off the true beauty of their screener.

of course, putting out xvid releases makes telesync folks angry because with a vcd the picture is so damn small you can hardly tell the difference between a telesync and a screener.

I agree with Da Postman on video and audio .... movie for me was a letdown however.

8/8.5/6
