lmao, I looked at the jpgs, and though hmm looks ok, grabed the sample and OMG, the rip looks good, but that has to be the worst reel man going, you can see by the way they have left the crowd in at the bottom that half of the projected screen is not even on the cinema screen... they could have least cropped it

this release IS missing the opening sequence, i wouldnt say 20 minutes, but a chunk is certainly cut out

Well I watched the UTI and felt it jumped into it, and I already watched the OBUS sample, and looks nice, but a bit blocky while watching it, and WTF is with cutting out the beginning, Thta to me is unacceptable, Yes its free, but I usually dont complain about quality, but when quality concerns cut up parts thats a problem.

If your going to do it right, then at least make the movie complete instead of scratching your head wondering how this all started.

Just my opinion, take it for whats it worth.

got this version and it starts off at the same spot the uti release did...the video quality is just about the same as uti (maybe a little more fuzzy) but the sound is good.i'll take this one because the uti version had some parts where the video would speed up and slow down for a few seconds (at least for me it did).

video = 6

sound = 8

movie = 6

Same thing happened to me misfits...and that sux that this version is fucked up too....for the record..good quality or not(which this one is pretty good)...if u dont have the whole movie...I think nuking is too good for u....only way thats acceptable(and even not then) is if u have a workprint...the camera guy needs to stop waiting in line for popcorn and raisinettes and get to work filming the movie for the ungrateful masses :-]

P.S. save all the go to the theater/can u do better yourself bullshit

In case of those who download the movie and didn't see the beginnin, all it is is when the protagonist is a little child digging in the tunnel with his parents and discover the dragon. Dragon kills everone but the kid. That is all.

ok i watched the whole thing and there are some short hisses in the sound at some points in the movie but nothing that makes this version total crap but wtf! the dude recorded the ending credits and all it shows is people getting up to leave and some girls standing up and lighting a cig...there was no point in that at all and theres no reason the seats and stuff couldn't have been cropped out.

Maybe they put it there because they wanted to show it was really widescreen, or maybe they just dont know how. Anyway i didnt see them in the sample untill i watched it a second time after reading some of these replys.

Ill post again after i see the whole movie, it finishs downloading in about an hour.

I checked this one out and the pic wasn't that bad. Even the sound was cool. The only prob I really had with the whole movie was the seated pplz in the theater and the reflection on the floor from the big screen. I guess maybe this should be labled cam or you guys should have cropped the screen to make it a perfect 16:3 AR without the crowd. But even if it was labled cam this pic is better than all the other Telesyncs releases of this film. I know you are a newer group OBUS but how bout trying the TMPGEnc cropping. As far the story goes it was kinda cool!! Pretty much what I expected from a movie about dragons and shit. I can say this wasn't a waste of a download. I may prolly reencode, clip the frames, and cut the credits at the end.

Thats a lot of work to do on an incomplete TS...this is not Matrix Reborn...its not that serious...the quality was good but heads bobbing about is second to cutting out the background info portion of the movie...then again..I've already said that...

reasonable release from a fairly new group.
but just one point to raise-anybody who says this is the whole release is obviously lieing-even in the nfo they say their is all content here-i don't care if it's only a few minutes or whatever-basically if you miss part of the story as a whole you are not seeing the film properly in my book. luckily although i live in the uk and the theatrical release hasn't occured over here yet -i have a friend who works in a promotional/editing company for movies in this country and i have been lucky enough to see a screener of this(i should have ripped it!-bugger!). overall a reasonable release-but those who are saying brilliant etc-obviously havent watched it all-have a good day-daniel

only diffrence between cam and telesync is the direct sound ,
wich is used for telesyncs . goddamn.
