yes, its a fake, its not really a MoF release. Its the other cropped one re-named.
Don't comment too often on releases but thought i would for this 1 as every1 seems to be
I tried to watch the XviD but couldnt stand the right channel only audio, subs were tollerable though. All the same i gave up watching it.
I realise there are scene rules and understand the reasons for the nuke and also how stupid this group are for trying to pull a fast 1, but.. This version is better imo to watch sound is much better and even if the subs are cropped out you don't feel you are missing a huge part of the picture.
Cant really vote numbers on it though for obvious reasons, but if you want to watch a nice quality copy of this movie (thats only just hit the cinemas) then my vote would go for this 1.
I hear another XviD encode of the screener with fixed audio and the missing minutes from the start will be availble on usenet this weekend, not a scene release but will probably be the best to date for any1 that cares.

lmao at this rls and grp, but
just to correct ppl saying begining is missing, the xvid, this reencode and any other version is not missing anything (except a few ENG subs are needed in 2 scenes, at least, when another language is spoken and is not a scene where anything is being interpreted , and begining credits) as the first scene is nicole kidman hearing "in a whisper; someone is going to be assasinated" ,etc.
pretty good movie though

looks more like Lmd the underline doesnt go to the end the letters also the underline is closer to the | of the L than it is to the other letters og and it doesnt look anything like a t
i was wondering if they had used that for the source as i didnt wanna download a svcd just to check lol
it indeed is LMD (limitedivx.com)
As for quality, it being a re-encode, i don't mind and as for scene politics couldnt care less.
5/7/X
dvdscr yellow subs (spanish)
tc white subs (english)
why cropped? only the kiddies know
LOL
I love your post IRC Movie Fan, but does this even deserve a vote? 0/0/?

Maybe they're making a joke similar to XPC, but taking it a lot farther. I hope.
Seriously, great release TheEnd. Video just looks better each time it's re-encoded.
0/0/x
lmfao
i didnt even know tmd was still around the last tmd movie i watched was panic room!!!!! it was so damn dark you couldnt even see it that was pre bt how funny
TheEnd is Near, TheEnd of the scene, due all the faggots
around and call em self sceners,
Look in the mirror you won't miss the reflection there of yourself for this release.
well we have seen what happend to the scene the last year,
And you do this kind of release?
all the busts all over and what is the reason?
Because other groups rather release something of THEIRS... not re-done stuff
well selling.
Would anyone want to buy this... if they knew it's "history" of re-encode?
insecure sites etc...
Like TMD?
TheEnd wants to encurage all the fucking lamers out there who are ruining the scene to stop it and make it what it was before a secure place BY sceners FOR sceners!!!
Hmmmmm... with this release you are a fucking lamer! And you just fucked up your "rep" with this fucking release
not for DC kiddies or eBay ppl to buy....
Or go and get TMD movies (props to them for being the source of course, lol) and label it theirs!
I think they need to have a Fucking sweet.. prefect ass release NEXT or you might wanna have a name change for this release fucked your rep the fuck up.. lol
I normaly agree with your posts here IRC_Moviefan more times than not and repect your opinions but on this release i have to disagree..
I have watched this release from start to finish on my TV, the ONLY pixelation/blockiness occurs for less than 2 seconds in the opening credits (yeah those fake 1s bolted on) and not at all thru the rest of the film so no need to apply any fixes to this. both CDs play fine with decent encoded SVCD picture. (certainly is on a TV anyway) You also say that the cropping results in half bodies, well if you had said tops of heads missing i would half agree yes, in the close up scenes the tops of heads are missing but those scenes are few and far between and there certainly isn't any scenes showing half bodys that i noticed. I myself am normaly quite critical about cropping but with this release there is the obvious reason for it (cutting out the subs) so it's all down to personal prefrence on this 1 whether you want a larger pic with hard coded subs or the cropped without. The lesser of the 2 evils for me on this is the cropped 1 and gave me more viewing pleasure without the subs than with. (but hey i can understand others not agreeing on that)
But the clincher for me to prefer this release over correlations is the audio. You say this is the same audio as correlation which obviously as it's the same source will be but, correlations had voice audio from the right channel only and background sounds from the left, this encode they have tinkered with it and the result.. audio plays evenly from both which imo is a big plus. (don't believe me stick some headphones on and listen to correlations and then try this 1)
Yes this group was very foolish in their actions on this release and probably deserve all they are getting but i am glad they released it (even though i probably shouldn't be) no pixelation, fixed audio and removal of the subs in a way that is acceptable. (iv'e seen many others cropped worse that get less comments passed here about it
)
Just wanted to add this as it seems that i am the only 1 that has actually watched this version lol.
Funny you guys would say that that's a reencode of a tmd reencode... The Correlation DVDscr had the same damn watermark popping up in that and a some other scenes.
Also the watermark appears in the lower right corner of both releases and that would probably be cropped off too if TheEnd really did reencode correlation and crop the subs.
