-- Star Wars 3: Revenge Of The Sith *VCD* - WORKPRINT - MoBsTeRs (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=62967)
YOU GUYS BEING A BIT HARSH,
ITS WELL WATCHABLE, FAR MORE THAN 5.5, THE TIMERS ARE A BIT OF A PAIN BUT NOT TOO MUCH
8/8/10
Does't look that great at all, but it's greatly appreciated by many. I'd rather have a nicely done ts.
6 / 7 / ?

Stick with the DVDR and fix, its same size. That blur is annoying. I sat in the 3rd row back last night and the movie was just one big motion blur, it looks better to me seen Digitally (TV) rather than projected.
6/7/9.5
I grabbed the DVD last night, watched it, then saw it in the theater this morning. IIRC there is one more scene on the DVD thean in the theater. Not wanting to spoil, I will just say that it the last one that was reported to be cut by Lucas in the trades. It is not a particlarly long scene, but it leads me to believe that this is a workprint from the penultimate edit.
RT
AR is still off, it should be 2.35:1. Should be nuked as reencode or stolen source, but then VISAs release was just a repackaged leak and not even their own source to begin with.
6/5/still no tickets avaible.
visa is just dumb for not bluring shit out. My bet is the guy who leaked this gets arrested within the next week.
Take note in the placement counter in the very begging you see "jedi mastering studio."
hrmmm, i wonder how many of those there are out there..... probably only one.
Thanks for clearing up the stuff mobsters, but untill i see it in theaters, i think many will agree that this isnt watchable. (well it is, but if you have good morals, for a movie this good theater is the only way)
If anyone can say this is a good copy they need there eyes testing very blocky blurry and hazy well rushed release

audio 8

I found the ViSA release to be perfectly watchable.Of course the counter is obnoxious but after 20 minutes or so It didnt seem to bother me.I downloaded cd1 of this release and I would agree, its pixelated and blocky.Far more so than the ViSA release. It'd be hard for anyone to avoid that outcome being that the source they were workin with was encoded improperly.Personally, Im expecting a tc to pop up some time soon;At any rate the workprint is a nice addition to my collection.
this is one of the best versions out the atm...so props to MoBsTeR
9/8/9
Not a fan of Star Wars and have not seen any of the others all the way through but I felt that this one was very good. I liked the visuals, but on one scene the cinematics looked cheesy (but it is a workprint). It's near the beginning where a big piece of metal falls on a dude, and it makes him slide across the ground which looks really strange. It could just be me.
8 / 7 / 8
Edit: This is very watchable using Zoom Player and changing the AR to 16:9. The blur is the only fault. Oh, and cd2 does go out of sync for a while, but in no way makes it unwatchable (you get used to it). This has been asked, but are any scenes different than the theatrical release?

This version is the best out there yet.
AR fixed, Overlaps from the iso have been removed (seems no-one else has even commented on those) and those large counters blurred, as best they could be given their size.
All in all a good release. I understand why some peeps want to see first in the Cinema, but I ain't a Star Wars geek, so this is perfect for me.
V -8
A - 9
M -8
Cheers
Not bad mobster A-9 V-8 just for the blur M-9 going to see in movies it's just one of those movies
Disc 2 didn't go out of sync for me.
At least watching the mpg on the computer.
Though I normally will extract the mpg from the image file instead of burning the image file.
Though I still went ahead and did some editing and re-encoded before I burn it to disc.
The blur isn't that noticeable after watching it for awhile, the only time it becomes an issue is when it covers faces.
Definitely watchable.
watching this from my computer, sitting in the chair it was pretty good picture except for the timer blured spot but i thought that is better than an acutally timer, and the sound had to be turned up and down but it was no problem
7/7
Heard oen copy was released by FBI and took down a tracker.
