I can not get sound for some reason, but apart from that picture looks dvd source to me, way to good for a telecine.

Since it is internal the rules are bent

still holy shit nice work

From what I've seen I didnt notice any of those artifacts on screen that signify a reel change. Makes me highly doubt this is a TC, it would be more likely some sort of rip from whatever print was sent to digital theaters.

I am not going to argue with everyone because that is not the point of these posts. All i am gonna say is it looks and sounds so perfect that if it is not a DVDRIP they sure fooled me. I already watched CD1. WOW!! Great Job!

Video - 9.5
Audio - 9.5
Movie - 9.5

I do not exist therefore i am above all

9.8/9/10 watched first few minutes and very nice much better then wp never saw tc u can kinda see a little pixelation but not much very nice

Posted by serial thrilla on 06-05-2005 11:46 AM:

Well i saw all 3 versions and i can say

WP- was ridiculously pixalted and the aspect ratio... well .. im sure everyone knows already!!

TC- I thought Tun did a good job ... my only complaint was that it was a tad too dark.. and that the sides were a little cropped off ... other than that flawless.. very minor pixles ...

DVD-Rip- Must admit it looks very nice when the movie isnt very dark .. sound rocks but theres still a few pixles .. so i can go either way with the TC and this one

V-9
S-10
M-6.5 <--- dont get me started!!

I think that this one is R0 dvdrip
like the "BoB" rls of Around the Wold in 80 days last year.
it's allmost DVD quality.
maybe some academic screener (dvd) but i think that's too soon for that.
who knows

quality is great........

Posted by sar on 06-05-2005 12:17 PM:

Judging from sample I can't see how anyone can agree this comes from a dvd - the pic is "okay" but the sound is hideously bad! Scratchy, tinny, flat - what have we.

Posted by [-BiG_W-] on 06-05-2005 12:24 PM:

Pic is the best yet but bad AR for me.

Sound isn't hugely great either - not even as good as the workprint.

Will do until retail but there's certainly room for improvement. Hope they release the DVD source

8/7/9

AR is fine for me, but the picture isn't perfect. You can see lots of distortion thruout the film (easiest point is on the intro "Far Far Away" screen, look at the text closely) which to me says its been on an analogue source at some point in its life. Sound is better, but I'm still concerned the master is screwed, because the lava fight still doesn't sound great.

7/8/10

I'm not sucking cock and saying the video is perfect when it clearly isn't.. it might've been ripped from a DVD, but it didn't start its life there I'm sure of that. Best release out tho without a doubt.

Just thought i would point out that iND stands for iNDependant, meaning this was a -NoGroup release, iND isnt really a release group, anyone can release under the name.

:: Shut up. -K::

Posted by Phantom on 06-05-2005 01:20 PM:

Gave it a 9/9/10

It's most def. the best thing out, but to me it looks like it has not been ripped by professionals.

Posted by me-self on 06-05-2005 01:33 PM:

i grabbed the first cd of this yesterday from a newsgroup, had no really nfo like this one and no group name, stil its the best quality out now, its not a TC and its not a re encode of TUN's release, its near perfect, i just wonder how this go out so soon, lucas will be fuming

Posted by meadowdale on 06-05-2005 04:37 PM:

ntsc
2 chan ac3

only thing i see missing is the end credits other than that perfect

9/9/8

Not had a problem playing it on the Yamada 6700 DVD/Divx player.

Quality is just tiny bit short of DVD quality, but I am not complaining! It is definitely not from a camera. The only gripe is that in the beginning, the sound levels appear a bit too high and some of the explosions sounded distorted. Apart from that, an excellent release and totally unexpected and out of the blue!

Posted by tibby on 06-05-2005 09:22 PM:

This is no TC for sure. The sound isn't tinny at all...in fact it is the best sound yet. the AR is spot on. Don't be fooled by that other internal floating around out there by CDRS it's only a re-encode of the TUN SVCD w/fake 5.1 AC3, now THAT ONE sounded tinny. The video is a little pixelated but if you can watch the workprint you should have ne problems with this.

V=8
A= 9
M= 10
