This is a decent release.

Audio is somewhat overfiltered causing some digital noise on the "S's", and it a little muffled, I brought the treble up on my surround about 4db, and that made all the lines clearly audible, but in turn bringing up the digital factor on the "S's"...so it was a trade off. I guess they are recording the audio via a microphone and filtering it to make it sound direct, both channels have the same properties (it's mono) But whatever, it's not DD or DTS, but still acceptable.

The video is pretty good. The groups have got to start realizing, most movies are 2.21:1, NOT 16:9 for theatrical release. Case in point, the picture is slightly stretched vertically in this because they used the "16:9" option. It's a simple change in MPC, but to watch it on my home player I had to re-encode it, watching it on the TV stretched how it is was unbearable. Looked like their faces were being reflected off one of those funny funhouse mirrors. If the first encode was the proper A/R it would have gotten a higher rating from me.

Video: 7 - would be higher if AR was proper from the get-go
Audio: 6.5 - slightly overfiltered, causing digital tings and muffledness
Movie: 7.5 - decent flick, a bit oddly structured, but overall decent.

Just finished watching this on a 65" HDTV

8/6/8

The video is pretty damn impressive for a TC.....

..the sound has been farked up by someone along the line compressing the dynamic range....to the point that when a really loud explosion happens on screen, the sound actually gets quieter....

it's a bit disorienting when the action is supposed to be kicking up a notch, and instead you have this almost pristine quiet in the soundtrack.

Any for anyone who is saying this is from a russian source.....you're an idiot....every subtitle, every written word is in english

...The movie wasn't bad either, I think Brad is a much better actor then Angelina however

rewatched this one another tv (i have a projection system set up in my apartment), and i noticed that the AR is off. for some reason, it corrects itself on my PC/Screen, but not on a regular tv. but still, everyone thats seen it has been amazed at the quality of it.

Those letterboxing black bars in the JPG are hardcoded, and the DVD is in 16:9 mode, so the resulting image is a correct AR image. Turn off 4:3 Pan+Scan on your DVD player.

Audio is pretty nasty on this release. Not the worst, but pretty bad.

8/5/*

Will watch this on a plane ride i have to take soon.

Nice video!

Anyone who actually watched this knows that the audio is WAY too bassy. The audio spectrum isn't full at all, very little of anything except for low end. You can have an AC3 or DTS encoded stream that sounds like crap just as you can have a non-AC3/DTS encoded stream that sounds awesome.

9/3/6.5

hmmmm where to start...first off, props to meteor for releasing this kinda quality so quickly

that outta the way, wtf is up with this rls. the video shakes pretty badly in the beginning of the film. the audio is unintelligable at times. overall, about 95% of this release is VERY watchable, but the other 5% leaves you scratching your head and wondering what went wrong. i've never seen a "tc" with these problems before.

video: 8 overall; slightly washed, slightly outta focus
audio: 6; anyone who rates this 8+ obviously hasn't seen/heard this rls
movie: 7, angelina made up for what the plot was lacking imo

Based off of the first 5 minutes of the movie (it's as much as I could stand)--

8/2/?

V: 8 because the video seemed really nice for a TC.

A: 2 because whoever did this used a string and tin cans somewhere along the way. It's really that bad. And no, I won't rate it higher just because you can correct it by adjusting treble/bass-- people shouldn't have to tinker with their settings just to enjoy a release.

M: ? because I stopped watching it when I couldn't even understand the dialogue.

I hope another grp proper's this POS rls and that in the future METEOR doesn't release crap like this, but I'm not holding my breath.

ok, here goes... i can't beleave that some of u guys gave this release that high a grade for the audio 'cos it's really beyond my standards... video though is far better than i expected for a TC.. definetly worth leeching if u, like me, thought the worst of the movie and just wouldn't spend that €8.
