downloaded a few rars - definitely a re encode of the xvid, compression artifacts are identical

on that basis... 2/2/8

I'm amazed whatever group put out the original dvdr hasn't propered it yet. that definitely had the best picture quality, apart from the missing scenes at the end.

How can you watch part of the movie from only a couple rars of the whole volume ??

8/7/9

the same group did the original dvdr and the xvid read up

right click one of the rars and rename it to whatever.vob.. then open it with powerdvd.. it should play

Posted by vission on 06-20-2005 04:52 AM:

or use vlcplayer - drag the rar to the player, it'll play it. gonna re-edit when d/l, burn, tv viewing is completed.

I finally got the whole rls, and you're right - video on this is exponentially better on a stand alone. looked identical on the pc monitor though.

new ratings based on me discovering that I am an assclown:

video: 8.5 - not perfect, but better than anyone could hope for this early

audio: 7 - nice channel seperation (they're not reversed this time either), bass kicks nicely on a PL 2 setup

movie: 8 - you know the deal

I just deleted the xvid version, retail will be the next upgrade. I've already downloaded this movie too many times...
wp, tc, xvid, now this. ha.

I don't really care if it's an encode of anything because it is still the best version out there by far! crystal clear picture [has to be from DVD or digital projector] and crisp DD 2.0 and it's all in sync.
Beautiful rls

Video - 9.5

Audio - 9.5

Movie - 9

After checking some files this looks to be out of sync just barely.

I watched it on a stand alone DVD player and didn't notice any sync issues (at least, if there were sync issues, they were so small that I couldn't notice them, for what that's worth).

If you haven't tried it on a stand alone, you should.

Excellent Release and very nice menu's custom made and very very nice...

9/9/7 movie sucked....I was expecting alot more..and it seemed rushed..to get it out the way.

Yea definitely need to watch on a standalone it looks way better than on the pc. On my 32 inch it looks like a dvd. 9/9/8

I haven't burned this yet, but once I do I'll report back. As for the sync issues I noticed it near the end of the movie, it's barely noticeable.

RLS #4439287659287465287435

How many RLS's of this Star Wars are we gonna see? JESUS!!!

Anyways:

Video: 7.5 (For being from a DVD source this looks like assjuice compared to most DVDRips, but good still nonetheless)
Audio: 6 (2-channel?!?! Come the f*ck on!)
Movie: 9 (F*ck you all, I can have my own opinion about this movie and noone can change it so f*ck off)

When receive the retail DVDR I do, pleased I will be...
