PEOPLE. I've banned 6 people and deleted about 10 posts out of this thread. If you can't STICK TO THIS RELEASE, then do NOT post in this thread.

This is not the place to ramble on about other releases, advertise, etc. READ THE RULES, please.

Watched full release last night...

Nice pic, a bit dark sometimes. But very, very good.
-=8=-

Audio was good, except for cd3. Too bad I was dumb enough to burn this release instead of using TV-Out with MPlayer to fix the auido.
-=3=- on CD3
-=8=- on CD1 & 2
-=5=- my average

Movie... It was good. I still don't think it'll be a memorable as Tim Burton's version (mostly because of the actors in that version). The missing footage caused a jump that nearly lost me. I should have just gone to the theater or just waited for a TC or SCR.
-=7=-

Fuck it, I'll watch a better copy later.

Thumbs up

this is a good release. a tad pixilated but thats it. cant fault the quality on this one as it being a telesync. great effort boys.

this is nice. very nice. but correlation's ts is nicer.

this rls: 8/9/stil havent watched

correlation rls: 9/9/still havent watched

by the way these ratings arent taking the missing 20mins into account.

...

:: SO CLOSE to actually following the rules. If this guy can do it, you ALL should be able to. -K::

This is a decent release other than the audio being messed up and the video missing the 20 minutes so i'll rate it as 5/4/7

Posted by bigbug41 on 06-25-2005 04:48 AM:

Pretty good

Missing Substantial amount of footage but quality is above average most of the way

6 = v Incomplete
6 = s A lil muffled
9 = M Best one yet

Posted by absurd-irc on 06-25-2005 10:57 AM:

great quality but the missing part is relevant to the story personaly i feel your missing one of the main parts of the film, still the best release and more then watchable for the casual film viewer. The movie itself is fantastic and well worth the cini ticket. 7/8/9

Based on entire Release

V:7 - bit dark, even on standalone
S:9
M:9 IMO the best BatMan to date

If it isn't complete, then it doesn't deserve the light of day. I keep seeing all the ratings, etc and it is all pointless if the viewer isn't going to be able to view the entire film as it is in theatres.

Seems that the first group to come out with a complete release will probably be praised for something that goes without question.

This is a great film, I encourage everyone to go check it out (while you wait for a complete release).

Missing 20 Mins

Hmmm... ok.... how come this isn't nuked yet for missing 20mins of playtime??

::EDIT:: Cos it's an "Internal" release, internal's don't get nuked - NS::

Posted by nutsinya1 on 06-28-2005 02:03 AM:

yo what does internal release mean anyway?

to comment on the release, i didn't watch it, but my dad said it looked good.

The reason why there is 20 minutes of footage missing from all these different versions is because there are TWO theatrical cuts. The shorter one is an IMAX print and is missing 15-20 min. I've confirmed it with my own two eyes.
