Badass release 9/8/9 the movie was a lot a fun.

Posted by jrw on 07-23-2005 04:42 PM:

Good video but the audio is lifeless and weak, no bass output whatsoever.

9/5/?

Video is good, but there seems to be a very slight vertical stretch to everyone.

Audio is also good, but there seems to be little glitches in it every once in a while...not too noticable though, so it certainly doesn't ruin the film.

I can't say I noticed the hiss that others have mentioned.

The movie itself is nothing special.

A=7
V=7
M=6

P.S. - Did anyone else have to overburn CD1 by a wee bit?

OVERBURN????

I dont understand why -SVCD, -GNP, -SCR, among other groups are fighting over these sources when none of them clearly have seen a telecine machine.

Hell, how hard is it to reencode and sync audio, this should have been out 5 days ago.

If you have access to better sources or do a better/quicker job encoding etc. then by all means release and get your due credit, otherwise quit bitching...

from sample.

Video 8 kinda dark nothing i cant fix by watching on the tv.
Audio 7. its got too much treble and not enough bass, sounds hollow.
movie watched it. it was decent. some parts were cheesy, and the climax was so sudden i found myself sad that the movie was over. overall ill give it 7

how come i couldnt post or read this thread in the begining? do you have to have x amount of posts before you can read new threads?

As stated in many of the previous posts the soundtrack was very weak with lifeless bass. The picture did make up for this though and made it a must grab. Id rather have tinny sound and a mint pic than mint sound and a washed out mess of a visual. Whos still overburning cdrs anyway?????.....dvd is here my friend lol

Video = 9

Audio = 6

movie = Watch it tomorrow

Posted by digitaldt on 07-24-2005 06:06 AM:

video is nice, but dark in a bit of places. 8.5

audio is actually okay, my cd2 goes out of sync by about 0.25 seconds! nuke! 7.0

overall QUALITY (video/audio) of movie is 8

Posted by fagget124 on 07-24-2005 09:43 AM:

video - 9, the quality is perfect for me

sound - 7, could have been better, but still good

movie - only watched half, so far its ok

i did have to overburn cd 1 by 1 mb

Posted by stormer2k on 07-24-2005 10:07 AM:

video appears a bit squished ( the AR?) and seems too dark in places; 5

audio is poor, out of sync here and there, echos, hollow, end credits not in english, infact it sounds awful; 3

movie is OK; 5

Posted by catflusher on 07-24-2005 11:57 AM:

Only bad thing about this release is the tincan audio that sounds worse than a cam version. I give it a 8/5/8

Posted by borofan on 07-24-2005 11:58 AM:

video - 8
audio - 5.5
movie - 7

nice job

Posted by astralan on 07-24-2005 08:48 PM:

7.8/5/8

I use to have an rca black and white 15" tv that sounded better than this.

Fantastic Four *SVCD* - TELECINE - SVCD

vs

Fantasic 4 *SVCD* *PROPER* - TELECINE - FUCK

Which release would you recomend, different people giving different views.

::EDIT:: The Telecine, by light years - NS::

Posted by vinnyv07 on 07-24-2005 10:05 PM:

Video is great ...Audio has no base at all but it's good enough to really enjoy the movie.
8/7/8
Movie was actually very good...I enjoyed watching this one. Going in I thought it would be another bad comic book movie.

Posted by vurtX on 07-24-2005 10:46 PM:

THE SCENE IS DEAD YET THE TC'S KEEP COMIN ..

video = 9 near perfect telecine.
audio = 5 clear but tinny, no bass .
film = 5 kids will love it, I fell asleep twice, but the Thing just about saves it from shitsville...

lipsync issues are very minor & not worthy of a nuke .. but they happen a few times & last for 30 seconds each.

Posted by houseofkrazees on 07-24-2005 11:47 PM:

part 1 won't fit on an 80min Cd-r

Posted by ant on 07-25-2005 01:57 AM:

I watched on a standalone...and i must say,the picture really is nice....as for audio,it lacks bass and has to much treble ,but if you have a stereo tv thats a easy fix,if not it still won't prevent you from enjoying this movie......as for movie,its pretty good not as bad as some make it out to be....overall this is a very nice rls,there is nothing about this copy that would prevent you from enjoying this movie,GREAT JOB.

V=9
A=7.5
M=8.5

Posted by bryehn on 07-25-2005 08:40 AM:

sounds like cam audio.

a/r is off so it looks like a really good ts.

turned off the movie at the 56 minute mark.

7/3/5
