ermmm, how can you say THAT? It looks like a good TS. Think it is made with one of those cheap TC-machines. The ones where you use a camcorder to film the filmrols...They can can be found for $300-1000.
Anyway...
Video bit blurry, audio is fine for me but the movie itself sucked...
Condsidering this is labeled TC and that this group is new in th scene (wich I admire)

7/7,5/4

Keep up the good work, owja spend some time in a nice Nfo and logo

Posted by Airhead on 08-02-2005 03:04 PM:

meh ...

previous TS the left side was missing as mentioned, the TC the top half is missing ... way overcropped.

Also as mentioned by others this copy is hella blurry compaired to their TS. Most noticeable when you compair the opening words and credits to their TS. I thought TC's were suppost to be crisp ..

TS - Missing left side , dark scenes are hella dark
8/8/4

TC - Overcropped , more blurry and grainy then their TS
6/8/4

So funny to watch people jump group to group saying "PRODiGY is my new favorite group" . Till next week when another new group downloads from torrent and sync's direct english audio

Props to PRODiGY for fast watchable copys , but i think the TC was rushed and could have been encoded way better.

7/7/?

Video is a tad bit grainy and washed out, leaving a faint blurr effect.

Sound could be cleaned up TS audio, can't really tell, fits the release, didn't notice any sync issues.

Really, the only issue I had with this release was.

IT'S FUCKING PAL!!!!!!!

God fucking damnit. Really, I can deal with only watching this crispy TC on my tv-out, but for the love of god groups, PUT INFO IN YOUR NFO!

WTF is a point to an "nfo" which is supposedly stating encode settings, release qualirt settings, etc, if you aren't gonna tell people it's PAL!

It's a great release none-tha-less. But for all you saps that wasted blank discs and couldn't figure out why it either doesn't play, or plays all chopped to hell and outta sync on your stand alone, theres your answer.

I'm amazed no one else caught the fact that it's PAL. One can only assume the xvid will be from a PAL source.

And whats wrong with PAL you keep on saying it like it is a disease!.
Stop moaning about PAL you sound like a broken record

He never said every release should be ntsc. In fact, he said he doesn't mind what format it's in but that they would at least put what format it is, ntsc or pal, in the nfo. I agree with this. Who likes burning a couple of cds or dvd just to find out it won't play on your stand alone. And no not most tvs or dvd players convert to either format. I have 10 dvd players all different brands and models and only one does that.

i'm amazed you dont realize every major release now is pal. wise up

Posted by fluffinator on 08-02-2005 09:09 PM:

umm, firstly, not all major releases are PAL, alot of the ones coming from Russian sources are.

Secondly. I'm not complaining that it's PAL, i'm complaining that they fail to mention in the NFO it's PAL.

PAL is higher quality than NTSC by default. Higher framerate and picture quality.

The problem being, PAL, played thru an NTSC dvd player produces CRAP. There are several methods for converting, such as patching the ifo, or actually re-encoding with a lower framerate.
Some NTSC dvd players apply the "patch" method by default, as does mine. Trying to watch a nice release like this that way just kills the release.

Don't believe me, check out vcdhelp and search "pal to ntsc"

Both methods produce a jerky picture that lags every few frames, or skips, however you look at it.

As for the genius posts flaming me, go back and READ my post. I'd prefer PAL if I WAS INFORMED thru the NFO.

Feel free to READ the post before you all jump on the flame bandwagon.

It's a fairly good release, a little bit blurred but I didn't notice any ghosting in the few action scenes I checked.

oh, and yyiryyib learn to read... it says CANADA under my location.

Kick ass it's so good to see a group releasing rips and TC's of current movies. GOD BLESS PRODIGY. I want to have deep meaningful sex with all of you too, starting with your members who are large breasted hot chics.

Yeah, I agree. America has had his time. Most Major release come from European or Russian Sources. Even the great centropy used french sources.

Saw the telesync and loved the quality

Thought the film was one of the worst to pass my eyes in a long long while.....if you are talking cheese, then this is pure over ripe camembert

TC is a little better.......what you gotta question is whether this film was worth 2 quick releases, top quality though they may be...

Respect due to the group, hope you can keep em coming

its 2.35 because its bad AR, I recoded it and took off 25 pixels from both top and bottom and brought it back to 1.85. Now it looks alot better

8/8/7 - I went in watching this movie thinking I wouldn't enjoy, cuz of the reviews it got from critics and the preview made it look like it was all about special effects, which only get a movie so far... but this movie was actually pretty good...not great, but good.

PAL being 25 FPS closest framerate to actual film produces a way better quality picture than NTSC ever would.. and as for ctp, they used french CANADIAN sources im pretty certain. It's not nice to bitch about FREE releases.

Posted by Hairyhamster on 08-03-2005 08:56 AM:

imo this isnt as good as the ts..... as already stated its very blured, audio is good though... nice try but a little bit more time spent, and probly a better capture device wouldve been top notch !

um. there are more methods for converting pal to ntsc than those two.
if you want a fairly 'newbie friendly' method go grab canopus procoder2.
works real good.
or learn how to use avisynth + cce.

as for the movie, nice release especially in the current dry spell. not gonna bother watching it all though.
