Whats up with it why does it flicker IF it didnt do that it would be an awsome copy anyone have one that doesnt flicker!
?
it should probably be noted, as well, that there are some 'tape' issues just before the 9:00 mark on CD2.
the light flicker issue is only noticeable for the opening credits. the full screen watermark is rather annoying at times, when its present, but the b/w screen following isn't so much.
i was looking forward to this film, but it never saw a release in my area, so i'm glad this came out of nowhere. film doesn't disappoint (unless you're a skater; or unless you're a huge fan of the z-boys documentary that was released a while back).
7/8/8
Just My Two Cents...
Short and sweet
Audio - 7 (maybe a 6) - Audio was decent enough. Everyone was understandable but still, not great
Video - 3 - Horrendous. The thing flickers all through it, there is a freaking warning that takes up the whole screen like 9-10 times and b&w scenes. The jumping just absolutely grated on my nerves
Movie - 7 - Movie was pretty good and I feel that it would have been better if I wasn't aggravated to hell and back with the flickering.
Let met state also that i'm not bitching at the group, just stating facts. I didn't get a local release of this and hate it took this long to get a release of it so I could see this movie. Good job on releasing it guys just wish it was better quality.
ok.. i got bored and didn't feel like waiting for the DVD release...
Video was washed out, jumpy and as mentioned there were
some tape issues. The video quality looks a lot more like what
one would expect from a cam, not a screener - even a vhs one.
audio is good.
movie was ok.. the documentry it was based on was great. they could have done a lot more with the movie then they did. Best
performance was from Heath Ledger -- reminded me a lot of val kilmer in the doors.

screener at best, but the best release of this film so far so props. not bad, but feels like a really nice cam as apposed to a screener.
video 6.0
audio 6.0
movie 7.0 interesting, and if i were growing up in the 80's more like something i would be interested in.
movie rocked this is ok quality but not the best 6/5/8
6/6/7
flickering is a little annoying, watchable though if you must.
