holy shit anova great svcd telesync from maven, the scene is looking good this week..

v 9 (compared to some other releases weve seen of late this is excellent quality for a ts)

a 7.5 (great for a ts but as stated it does have a background hiss to it, nothing major tho)

m ? (can finally watch now)

thanks maven, get us lord of war and you'll be on a roll!

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

maVen, it's been a while. But apparently they still got it. Colors are just amazing for TS but the audio is a bit minor. Havn't watch the movie yet but it looks good on imdb so...

overall great release and welcome back maVen

Ok, WTF are u ppl watching? Yes the video is great, but cmon stop riding mavens cock...
The audio on this rls is piss poor, such that even maven know it sucks ass, hence the mention of it in the nfo.

9/5/7

I still cannot see how you rate this audio as poor, what crap are you listening it with,i watched it on tv through fucking big speaker output and i rate it an 8,get some decent audio output or clean your ears out.

Posted by Neversoft on 10-10-2005 06:59 PM:

Excellent release, the only thing it lacks is anal gaping...

Based on a (correctly labelled) TS:

V - 7
A - 7
M - Dunno, but I reckon I'll love it

Sorry, got to agree with the others.

Picture is indeed excellent, not overly cropped, no angle and decent colours. Sound isn't great, just for the benefit of the guy above I've had it running through my pc speakers, my tv speakers and my 5.1 speakers and there's a distinct hiss and it's a tad 'dull'. Not the worst ts audio I've heard but a far cry from the old dts source.

But fair's fair, Maven mentioned in their own .nfo the sound isn't great.

Out of sheer courtesy as to what happened today, everyone should show some respect to one of the best animation studios in the world today and go pay to see this.

Download it by all means. But show some appreciation and go see this at the theatre.

And yes, this rls is great.

Nice release, great Video, best ive saw on a TS in a while, hope this isnt a one off.

Audio is piss poor, and that is listened to on £2000 of Audio equipment, maybe im fussy but its not been the same since the New DTS Discs.

Movie, Dont know, never liked Wallace And Gromit, well made yes, but never enjoyed one, will give it a try anyway.

8/5/?

very nice. some groups may have put that out as a TC ;-)

good to have maVen back on block.

v: 8,5
a: 7,5
m: 9,5

I think we all perceive quality differently,in my humble opinion the audio to this release is good enough and allows me to watch the film without any problems, thats why its worth 8,but people do get annoyed by background noise and it ruins the film for them and so they mark it low, rather than argue i rather thank the people who bring us these films at great peril, many groups have fallen but the new bred are beginning to bring us quality that at one time we expected, long live them all.

Posted by legget on 10-10-2005 09:51 PM:

just converted this to dvd and watched it on the tv and there was no hiss in the background only on the pc so i rate it......

Well guys I have to say I'm a huge maVen fan. There TS are far and above all the others . But I'm really hoping for a repack on this one the pic is outstanding but the sound not good.On the PC its horrid,on the TV is not as bad ,and the surround sound system you can get it down to a dull roar by playing with the bass/treble.I'm sure with an equalizer you probably can eliminate it.
