video-2 dark, and the movie itself is dark so I couldnt see much of anything
audio- 4 lots of audience noise low and hollow
movie-4 maybe better if I could have seen the action

I remember thinking after the Hydro CAM releases of Land of the Dead and Red Eye back to back that they were going to be a good group for quick CAMs. Now were seeing mainly 5s and 3s. Wonder what has made the difference? I think they demonstrated the talent to put the goods out there.

Pretty dark video. CAM sound with loaded theater. 3 - 4

the video for land of the dead was from a russian torrent site, hence the foreign narration at the start before the cam audio (courtesy of POT) kicks in. and there just happened to be a good copy of red eye availiable for hydro to release.

hydro aquire silvers off the streets (these are the original copies of all these cam vcds) and they then release them. if its a bad copy being sold everywhere then itll be a bad copy being brought to us.

anyway, as for the release:

v 5 (meh, tis a cam, but it still could be better, look at ORC for example. this is very dark and flickers too)

a 4.5 (alot of audience noise ruining what was already average cam audio)

m ? (would like to see, but not so badly that i wanna watch this copy in its entirety)

thanks hydro for the speed, but i'll pass for now.

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

mad respects for the release hydro...if not for the almost completely unwatchable darkness and the shitty crowd chatter and laughter it would have been decent....

3 can't see shit.
5 loud and clear, but again the audience f..ks it up..laughing at shit that isn't even funny...and someone get that one guy some N'ICE..mofo..keeps coughing..
? will watch when better release is available

Too dark for cam, i guess.

Posted by ddb on 10-23-2005 02:04 AM:

crappy ass silver cam with a flicker
the rock should go back to wrestling
2.1/2.0/4.2
although i've got crappy cam's before and hated the movie.
then got the movie when a nice T.C. or screener came around and liked the movie after watching the better source. hope a better copy comes around soon before really decideing how shitty it is

Video is dark, but hey - maybe it's there to simulate the lighting in Doom III? Shit, all is needed is the flashlight-mod-filter for this and everything looks fine

Video 3

Movie 7

First thing is I gotta give prop's to Hydro for a hella fast release.
But its really really dark and I know its a dark movie to begin with but this I cant help but feeling I'm missing alot of good stuff cause of it being so dark. Background noise is sumthing you deal with on cams so i understand that.. Also wanna say I been waiting for awhile to see this movie I hope either Hydro or someone else release's a version that isnt so dark.

Not quite right, a lot of groups do their own homemade cams/ts's. Well, maybe not a lot nowadays but a few. UTI being one of the more noticable cam groups from the past.

Posted by shawners on 10-23-2005 06:31 PM:

Its a dark movie so the cams arent gonna capture the light as much and especially the tc may need lighting up.
vid 3
aud 4
movie 8.
Saw it at the theaters, probably rocks best movie.

Not a bad release, considering for how long the movie has been out.

What can I say that hasn't been stated yet, other than what a waste of bandwidth that this download was.

Within first 4 minutes of movie there was a partial scene cut... more cuts follow.

Movie is a dark movie, lightening up the image gives me grey blocks.

Looks like it was shot from the nosebleed section at the far left of theater. Universal logo at beginning gives it away going nearly from top left corner of the screen to opposite bottom right corner @ beginning.

Audio is bleh bleh bleh.

Blah blah blah.

How can i finish watching something or rate it when I don't even know what it is I watched the first 30min of.

As a cam:
2- Video
2- Audio
