aaaand the reason youre posting jpg's of SAW 2 in the DOOM review thread is ??????????????

Posted by Roger on 10-30-2005 12:46 PM:

to show a ts what should be, and a tc should be better then this, you don't have to look at what movie it is, but mainly at what the sharpness and colors are ( for this type of movie ) as for a TC even if the movie is *fucking dark* you don't mind , because the print is made like this, so the movie is like this, if they do a TC with a 24p camera on a smaller screen ( what russian does ) then its normal that on this type of movie, you will clearly see this is not a tc, wich mean, this group is full of shit.

i would be interested to see what a good ts could be compared to this. This is my point .

Video - 8
Sound - 8
Movie - 4 (What a peice of shit this movie was, why cant they make a movie about a videogame as good as DUNE2 anymore?? Both the movie and the game where sweeeet)

Video is nice. Its a dark movie, and thats to be expected. I'm not saying that its not a TC, but with all the previous releases, the dark scenes were pretty much unwatchable. At least in this version you can see whats going on. I'm not seeing any signs that this is a mislabeled Telesync. So judging as a Telecine:

8- as good as we're gonna get until a screener. Dark, but nice.

7- The sound is nice and direct, but has multiple sync problems throughout.

7- Definitely entertaining, but not oscar worthy. :-)

nice release, but imo not a tc

v 8.5 (a little blurry, but decent qualty and more watchable than the others)

a 9 (very clear audio)

m ?

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

The best release of this movie so far, i give them that much but that's where it ends.
I refuse to Rate a movie that's mislabeled,
they are ether too thick to know the difference between a TS and a TC
or they just take us all for Mugs.

Dune, both the video game and the movies, were based off of Frank Herberts novels. Read a book for fucks sake.

Does anyone really give a fuck when something is nuked?
I have watched plenty of 'nuked' movies and there were perfectly fine.
What's the point?

Posted by EricdeVet on 10-30-2005 02:27 PM:

Watched both parts, and found that the audio is out of sync in some parts on both CD images.

Posted by movies_r_great on 10-30-2005 02:59 PM:

I have been waiting for a good copy to surface of this movie

V-8
A-6 (out of sync really annoys me)

tc or ts?

my opinon is who cares! its as good as most tc's these days. what is important here is, that people are getting you these releases. nice to hear of audio out of sync issues, but no need to bash the video saying ts no tc. its free

v=8 abit grainy
a=7 some sync issues
m=3 if you like the game you may enjoy the movie
