I install and maintain security system cameras for a living (analog and digital). I see this waving effect quite often. It's usually a result of the playback in the camcorder they used (faulty heads). RF Interference and faulty decoding cards can also give this effect. While I suppose it's possible there was a natural gas leak somewhere- it's more likely it was an equipment issue. Anywho- on to the review...

Video: 7. Colors are great, but it's not that hard to get an animated film right since the colors are so vibrant anyways. That said, the clarity is very good. The waving effect is a <little> annoying, but you forget about it after a while.

Audio: 9. Awesome.

Movie: 5. Someone said it's more in line w/ Madagascar and Robots.... I agree. This is no pixar quality flick. Good for kids though.

video is awesome except for that wavy effect but you get used to it.sound is great but with alot of bass.will pick up maven release instead.

Top quailty telesync,

great video bright and clear
audio is a little bassy but not bad

Don't know what movie you guys watched but just watched this with the grandkids and audio was not only out of sync but sometimes faded in and out. Turkish subtitles not too intrusive but never knew who was talking as the sync was so bad. Too bad because the kids enjoyed it in spite of the audio

For such a fast release, this is really amazing quality, and also really good for a TS!

I won't need to get this one again until retail DVD comes out.

V=9 (-1 pt for slightly squiggly pic)
A=9 (Awesome!)
M=5 (mostly for babies; SOME funny parts)
