Theatrical was 116 minutes, and the unrated was 132 minutes. So it's there. It's just really good and the time just flies by watching it.

Glad these kinds of extended cuts and not the "unrated 20 seconds of never before seen too hot for the theater" extra footage crap.

Video - 8/10 - encoded, below 4,000 but still good, can't tell the difference

Audio - 10/10 - sounded great, 5.1

Movie - 5/10 - different than what I expected. It was funny and worth the watch. But, wtf is with the ending? lol

Great release Replica. Played flawlessly in my DVD player.

not to be a stickler....wouldnt that add up to 16 minutes of extra footage? Where did this mysterious 1 minute of super secret footage go to? lol

Ummm, did you actually see the theater release then?? There is a ton of cut, extended and altered scenes in this version. It was almost like watching a different movie. Way better IMHO, love the fact that the other characters actually had some part in this cut, and i lot of the plot points make more sense with the little parts that were cut......like him saying he went to magic camp, or that the bearded guy is a novelist, or even him getting the call while he's working making him going to her house in a suit make sense.......before making comments like this, watch both versions!

For your edification, Yes, I saw it as a preview - in a theater, but it was a week prerelease - so how many months ago?
I didn't notice any scenes in this one that would make it "unrated" that weren't in the original. (my point) Yes, some scenes were added/edited/extended, and maybe the DVD was improved over the original theatrical movie. (your point)

The movie is over 2 hours long without the credits, so the under 4000 bitrate shouldnt be a shocker... Its not noticeable with it being a comedy.

Im an advocate of getting the best bitrate for the MOVIE, so I agree with Replica in cutting the extras... I can manage to wait the couple weeks until retail is released to make my own rip if wanted... Then again, I cant remember the last time I took the time to encode my own movie just for the extras...

Best you could do on a 2 hour + movie...

Audio-10
duh... Of course the DTS freaks will dispute this. But I say again, this is a comedy - not LOTR.

movie-?
Your pick... I personally enjoyed this alot.. I am a huge Steve Carrell fan from his Daily Show days.

LOL at the flames. Please. Try not to be so common. For a release to be quality, the DVD experience should be maintained. In this type of movie, the gag reel is an essential. For those "cheap bastards" looking for movie only, great, grab the SVCD and burn it. This is a DVD release. Gags and outtakes are part of that experience. Therefore the DVD is slaughtered. Soem did release the DVD9 just for this reason. And by the way, I am buying this, as I do 95% of DVDs. Also, yes, when I buy this, I will rip/encode it mself, and release it under my group name.

Flaming on a forum is like competing in the special olympics, even if you win, you are still a retard.

Why are people that enjoy movie only rips "cheap bastards"? By wanting less than the full experience makes us cheap? Wouldn't someone that wants the ENTIRE thing for free the cheap ass?

BTW< You can't just pawn off an SVCD and think it is a "movie only" rip. They do not have 720x480 nor 5.1... Completely different genre of release. Even an XViD or DiVX don't stack up.

And third, if you buy 95% of your movies, why complain and hope for a re-release with all the extras. Especially if you've already got this on shopping list to buy?

Looking forward to your rip

Like Porco says, it suffers a bit when zoomed to fill a 16x9 screen. The extras add very little to the movie experience and in this instance could have been left out.

Audio: 9
Contrary to popular opinion it isn't just loud scenes which sound better in DTS. Quiet scenes and dialogue are much clearer too.

Movie: 10
Perfect, perfect, perfect. Every character in the movie reminds me of someone I know in real life. I laughed out loud all the way through.

what a great release picture was great pity they could not have fitted on more extras but hey would rather have a great quality film than loads of extras

have not notices and problems with the picture like a couple of people seem to when watched on a 16x9 tv

If it wasnt for these groups. you wouldnt have your movies early and to compain about a replica release if im not mistaken they are one of the top groups with top notch releases.

Go buy it and release your reincoded version try to fit the whole retail dvd onto a 4.6 gig dvdr not 8.5-DL with out sacrificing anything.

and you call every1 flames but in actuality
you know how i know your gay?
your gonna reply back like a ßitch. when you should give it up and move on.
