The video is decent for a cam, although a bit flickery. The audio is horrible. It's very hollow, and very muffled. The movie looks decent, but I'll wait for a better release.

Not bad at all for a first. Newbies usually get better with time so I look forward to more. Video is a bit high in crimson hue as mentioned b4. Audio is just plain over-filtered-but understandable. Thanks for the release!

V-7
A-6
M-6 Mediocre H. Ford Movie at best

prologic?

Since there seems to be some debate about the sound on this I've put off downloading for the moment. It occurred to me when reading an earlier comment about the sound being like Aeon Flux that the sound may have been set-up for prologic surround.

On my standalone and old-ass TV Aeon Flux sounds like it's been recorded underwater. It works if I partly pull-out the scart to the TV, presumably disabling some of the sound channels. Most won't have experienced this as they will have better set-up's than my poor ass.

Any further comment on this aspect of the sound would be appreciated. Do people with surround get surround, and are the channels backwards like with AF?

heavily filtered, way to much white balance. hard to see in bright scenes, watchable.

7/3/7

I don't know what some peoples problems are...maybe they are to picky or something but i've seen like 20 times worse than this. This rls i just finished watching the whole rls and its not bad at all!! Video is great and audio is pretty decent...people who are saying its horrible need to accept whats out there. Its not bad audio, its pretty decent audio.

Video - 7

Audio - 7

Movie - 6

very hard to beleive this is a direct sound source, sounds more like cam audio just filtering out background noise, to me anyway!

Video is not to bad at all, a little to white color to it, but other then that its a good video source

7/3/? TS

Video is good but as stated in other posts sound is not as good.

8/5/5

Watched this on my standalone.

Video not bad, a little "fuzzy" but watchable on a TV

Audio is just screwy - on my dolby sound system it decided to send all the audio to the rear speakers ??? but in 2ch stereo mode with the volume cranked right up, it was bearable.

The video is a 8/10 great for a telesync!

The Audio- It's what makes this movie damn near NON-watchable, in its own away. On scenes where there's al ot of backround noise (places like a big city where there's a lot of backround sounds) it's almost annoying because it has to much focus on the backround noise in sounds like, its wierd and annoying. But when there's almost no backround sounds, it's fine, its just the backround sounds are allmost louder than the sound it's supposed to be focusing on.

The movie- Haven't wathced, but it looks interesting, even tho average reviews are crap.

That's because they're not in the background; the movie soundtrack is the true "background" noise. Automatic gain control (AGC), which is found in almost all cheap/consumer recording equipment, will raise the recording level to the max. When the theater is quiet, the loudest sound is from the movie. When some asshole coughs, that becomes the loudest sound, and the AGC turns down the gain to compensate, otherwise the waveform would be clipped.

Using professional grade mics and audio post-processing would help some, but basically any recording of a recording like that is gonna suck ass, and people should stop labeling them as TS, which is when you record the audio direct from the source.

I give it a Nuke vote, since it's not really a TS, but if I were to rate it:

Video: 9
Audio: 2 (1 being just noise)
Movie: 3 (Typical Hollywood crap)

Posted by Goturenumba on 02-19-2006 01:28 PM:

Video = 7
Audio = 7
Movie = 8

video was better than usual, as was the audio, movie was one of the better releases of late in my honest opinion, however i would expect a lot of ...shall we say say "intelectually challenged" peeps not to get it and slate it.

Not bad video 7 the audio 6 i have to wachted full still pending

Posted by svfelstead on 03-04-2006 07:02 AM:

Just watched this on my stand alone and had no probs
This has to be on of Harrison Ford's best movie.

A - 8 perfcet sync from start to finish
V - 8 (only a few small black circles)
M - 9 - Fantastic - kept me on the edge right to the end

GOOD WORK MP - SEE IF YOU CAN KEEP RELEASES LIKE THIS COMING

Posted by GrimReaper87 on 04-11-2006 12:36 PM:

I agree about the sound although on my JVC standalone it worked fine, on cheapo phillips was just noise however, without sounding too technical, by simply pulling out left hand side of scart, this did the trick and sound was spot on.

Great video, audio was the downfall
Definately watchable, loved the movie
