typical maven ts,i.e. very good, a bit of a pity the movie is not upto much. Steve martin has got clousou's look of total confidence and i am in full control look absolutely bang on,but the laughs don't come anything like as naturally or freely as peter sellars, but a good effort, better luck next time. for a ts 8.5/8.5/6

what was this supposed to be? a comedy? id hope not... a mystery? just what, I didnt have 1 laugh on this movie, the who dun it side caught more of my attention, and that wasnt much, I never saw the i guess original live action PP, but I do remember the cartoon, and Id rather watch that anyday... steve martin just isnt in this age anymore... great pic good audio... 7.5/8/4

release was nice good video (once I adjusted brightness level) decent sound. Wish all were this nice. Movie - script was terrible, as was Steve Martin's imitation of Peter Sellers... But I think it was supposed to be bad, especially the accent.
Waste of a good cast, except Jean Reno who should get an oscar for not killing Steve Martin. Jason Statham was lucky - he gets killed off at the begining.

8/8/5

Nice release Maven.

V: 8.5 Some flicker in video, color is excellent and very watchable.
A: 8 (little hollow but clear)
M: 8.5
Thought the movie was funny a lot of good one liners, had some slow parts but overall a good remake.
Yes Peter Sellers was the great original, thought Steve Martin did a good job tho.

Why complain when it's free!!

Waiting for Firewall Maven

Thanks again

Quality is on a par with BMH2, and plenty adequate for this type of movie. Yes there is a slight flicker but the colours are good and the picture is relatively sharp. Sound seems to start off really good then go hollower though that might have been my ears attuning to it. Defenitely not great sound, but you can hear what's being said clearly, it just lacks tonal range. Movie was, well, just about worth watching. Martin is borderline irritating but I wasn't compelled to switch off.

V - 7.5
A - 6
M - 5

Good release Maven, keep up the great work!!!
V:9 (better than most TS out there right now)
A:7 (could be better, could be alot worse)
M:? (I cruised through this to check quality, but knowing it wont compare to the originals, I skipped it and gave it to my roommates kids.....and they loved it)
