The video quality was lousy...barely watchable especially during the dark scenes...the audio was good for a cam...but overall the total quality was lousy even for a cam...wait for a better release

OMG LOL this cam owns seriously.... i mean maybe not burned but watching it on PC is totaly good for reals... 7/8/8 the cam quality NOT the best but seriously this was a fast release and hardly any talk *inside job* anyways glad to see some crews gettin back up and going some nice fast releases...hopefully the nukers will take that into consideration

6 words SEE THIS MOVIE IN A THEATER

this was the most visually disgusting horror movie i have seen in forever, this made hostel look lke a 4th grader wrote it. The special effect sin this movie are AWESOME, and this movie is scarry. Not jump out of your seat scarry, but fuck with your mind, and your visual perscpectives scarry. The movie stuck very very closley to the game, minus the fact that in the game it was the husband not the wife looking for the daughter. But the is the closest video.game conversion since resident evil, and imo RE was not a good conversion. Bottom line See This In A Theater or wait for the screener not cam or TS can do this film justice

Im not rating the story line I gave the movie a 10 for overall. it was a scarry movie, it was georgeuosly visual, and it was over a good film, minus the ending which only leavs room for a sequal.

Definitely better than Hydro's Internal CAM. The video isn't too bad. Its dark in a few scenes, and has some slight blurring to it. There is one guy who walks in front of the camera, but no other heads in the picture. SOund is great for a CAM. There is very little audience noise. You hear a whisper, or a cough here and there, but the audio is very loud, and clear. Movie was decent. One of the best Game to Movie adaptations, but it was still a little lacking for my taste.

Saw it in the theater first and liked it. Watched it again at home to absorb more of the dialogue and details and now I understand the picture even clearer. I wasn't THAT confused before, but many of the "answers" are stated by the characters...

Great movie! I can't wait for a directors cut DVD

Couple annoyences with this release, there a few occasions where the sound is slightly muffled making it hard to hear whats being said and about 1/3rd of the way through i had some video corruption but over all i thaught it was great for a cam considering how fast it got released.

Well worth watching in the cinema, the special effects deserve it alone. One tip i can give though it looks much better on a bog standard TV than a PC monitor.

Movie: 7 (If you loved the Silent Hill games you will love this, if you didnt its still a great film to watch).

Saw this movie last night in the theater. I felt the movie itself left alot of room for improvement. But good effort considering the source material was a videogame.


Cam is decent. It's a CAM, what do you really expect?

Not a bad release, especially considering that it's been released few hours after the premiere. The blue didn't really bother me that much, maybe it's because I've watched the whole movie and kind of got used to it.
I'm DEFINETELY going to see it when it comes to the cinemas out here, and get any better version that comes out.

Video : A tad dark, but the whole movie is - maybe it's because I don't really watch a lot of cams. Also seems to be out of focus sometimes. 5.
Audio : Actually, quite nice. It sounds better than some "telesyncs", to be honest. 8.
Movie : The acting seems to suck a little bit, but the rest is purely perfect. Way better than Resident Evil. Maybe I'm saying that only because I'm a fan of Silent Hill, but still. If you like scary movies, you can't miss this one. 9+.

BTW : Due to a lot of dark scenes, I wouldn't say that this release is completely watchable. If you want to enjoy, wait. Or turn the brightness up to 666%.

Grainy, Dark, Very Blue & out of focus at times.

people who rated over 5 were you watching on a pocket dvd player? or ipod video? ok its a cam but a TS is a Cam with direct audio. so surely Cam and TS should get the same vid rateings? i think if this was a TS people would slate this release, so why do people rate this as resonable?

Where did all the good Cam's & TS go?

Not bad. One of the better CAMs i've seen. I didn't notice the cam moving, but it does have a slight angle to it. A couple times someone stands up, but whatever. I don't normally download CAMs, but I really wanted to see this movie and I was broke at the time. Great movie, gonna go see it on wednesday.

V: 7 (Little bluish as stated before, but watchable)

A: 7 (pretty good for a little cam mic, little talking, but nothing as loud as what you hear in the theater itself)

M: 9 (awesome movie, gonna watch it in the theater this week!)
