Thumbs up

Nice touch adding the anti-piracy intro!

Great qualty video the sound is much better than the last few maVen Xvid's. At least i don't need to turn the tv upto full volume to hear it.

Oh and a touch of class including the "One Man Band" short film.

Yeah, the pic and sound are great, typical for a Maven release. The only problem I see is that this is listed as being 1 CD in the release list, but it is actually 2. And I am having a hell of a time getting the 2nd one now.

maVen rocks again,clear,crisp. 8.4/8.5/8.0

wow.. great copy. I was expecting a better than average TS due to it being a cartoon but this beat all my expectations. Also amazing speed getting this release out. Great job Maven as usual. I don't know how much closer to a 10 one can make a TS and since 10's are frowned upon here this is my score.

For a TS:
V:9 - Even paused on a 60" TV it's amazingly crisp/clear
A:9 - Volume level seems spot on and besides that anouncement in the beginning, which was beyond their control, it's perfect.
M:9 - Pixar does it again. They can't seem to make a bad movie (although obviously some are not as good as others, they are all still above average IMO)

Why? The audio could have been captured by anyone. They might know from what cinema the line was taken from, but that's about it..

Posted by wolfpup on 06-11-2006 07:56 PM:

Am I the only one thinking that the left and right channels are reversed?

Otherwise, fantastic quality -- hard to believe it's a TS -- almost like a good DVD rip

V: 9
A: 9
M: Haven't watched the whole thing yet, but looks good.

WELL LETS FACE IT 38 POSTS GIVING MAVEN A BJ, AND NOT ONE STATING THE COUNTLESS PROBLEMS OF THIS RELEASE.

VIDEO = GREAT... LOVE IT.. EXCEPT FOR THE GIRL GETTING UP ON CD 2... A FEW TIMES

AUDIO = TOTAL SHIT... WHY? WELL FOR ANY OF THE PEOPLE SCREAMING HOW GREAT THIS WAS, YOU ARE SMOKING CRACK... SURE THE AUDIO IS CLEAR AND LOUD... BUT WAIT.... ITS NOT IN SYNC... ITS NUKED FOR NOT IN SYNC... CD 2 IS OUT OF SYNC...STARTING AT 28:49....YOU HAVE TO STOP THE MOVIE, AND THEN START IT BACK UP, BUT IF YOU PLAY THROUGH IT STAYS OUT OF SYNC...NOT TO MENTION AT 30 -35 SECS THEY WANT SOME STUPID KID FROM THE CONCESSION STAND ( MENTIONED)... BEFORE YOU GO RANTING AND RAVING HOW GOOD THIS IS, TRY WATCHING THE DAMN THING.

8/1/7

Posted by TnTSCS on 06-12-2006 12:17 AM:

Well, after viewing this flick, and reading all the negative comments and b/s nuke reason, I still think this TS is up to par on what is expected, even exceeded my (and many others) expactations.

Video - 8
Audio - 9
Movie - 9

Jc100 - I think maybe you are being a little rough on your post (and ouch, my eyes on those CAPS), I mean, come on, the audio is better than a measly "1"

IMHO - this release is top notch TS... and to answer someone elses question about how this can be a TS if you can hear the announcement - the announcement interruption was crisp and clean, which is exactly how it should have been... the theatre used the PA system, which goes through the equipment amps (or at least I think it does)

good job maVen

Posted by TnTSCS on 06-12-2006 12:19 AM:

oh, and I couldn't notice the 'out-of-sync' issue mentioned... maybe my eyes are bad, cause I think it's harder to notice out of sync issues on animations (especially this one)... it could be there, but I didn't notice it
