Very very nice release! I've been waiting for this.

V/8.5 - Nice colors, clear picture
A/8
M/7 - It was all right. Better than the first (which I hated).

Near perfect telesync. Thanks OBSESSION

why is 2 minutes missing from this release?? if they are recording it in the cinema then surely they will record all of it. its only 2 mins, but still a pain. apart from that its the best release so far.

Posted by Mr Anarchy on 08-01-2006 12:05 AM:

Excellent release.
Picture is slightly sharper than the Pukka release.
the running time is the same, its still missing the 2 minute section ,136 mins total time.
Audio is crystal clear, best I've heard on a TS in a while.

This is the one to get! Audio far better than Pukkas.

Great release, best encoded yet if it's the same source as others.

8/8/9. Really liked the movie.

On another note, who has confirmed that this(pukka and dank included) was maVen's source? The clowns maVensupplier? They are usless in the scene, They talk shit about the best group out there right now and they only release shit. They say maVen sells, why can't they get thier hands on the source and release it before they do? I'd say maVen at some point put you in your place and you mad at them....Why can't you just be a normal release group that releases shit silvers that for the most part no one wants or watches... Just my opinion

Posted by XboxFreak on 08-01-2006 03:22 AM:

Yeah this is the same source as Pukka's.
It's missing the same 2 minute scene at 0:56:06 on CD1 where Will Turner goes over to the wrecked ship.

The audio is much better on this release tho so that makes up for it I guess..

For the last time the source was NEVER maVens or their would have been an .NFO to the contrary. It was justa source ripped .ru ts that many ppl have axx to with better encodes and audio. As such this release has better bass but quieter dialogue throughout, but its pretty much the same. IMOP My.Super.Ex.Girlfriend-maVen is best source TS damn near TC, no flaws or not much to complain about. Pirates 2 has been done, move along please!!

Overall, this release is excellent. It is missing the 2 minutes as stated in another post, but it's a very miniscule part that isn't even missed unless you are particular to detail.

How is this release compared to Danks?

Posted by Brisse on 08-01-2006 10:55 AM:

How can you rate it so high, its the same version as before, they lied in the NFO claiming it was a diff source than Pukka´s clearly thats a not true.
Unless of course the cammer had a twin in a nother time and he recorded it the ecsact same way ?

Movie 7 (still not complete)
Sound 8
Movie 9

Nfo 10 (for telling it as it is, not)

Posted by Bristol Bulld on 08-01-2006 11:26 PM:

Don't know if anyone else thought the video quality on the pukka release was better ... perhaps i was lucky and my encoder came up trumps...
Just nicked the audio off this and matches up perfect with pukka video.
Though must be said there is nothing in it ... just personal preference
V= 7
A= 8 (Best So far) ... perfect match for pukkas release
M= 9 (Very biased I love It)
Regards
BB

These are called fingerprinting dots. They've been on nearly ALL cinema films for the past 3 years now. Each set of reels sent out to theatres have a different pattern in the movie that tells Hollywood what theatre the movie is recorded in. For awhile there was an effort to hide these dots, but it takes time to find them and remove them, and as the "scene" goes, people were releasing sources before others had a chance to clean them up. And better groups were getting beaten to the release game so people gave up, some got busted, a few groups went down.

No one really cares about it anymore I suppose.

I just wonder how you noticed the dots with the guys coming in on the boat and missed that they started around the time "Will Turner" shows up on the island. There are about 10-12 instances of the dots before the guys on the boat.

They fucking annoy me to no end because I notice them in the theatre as well when watching movies.

Rating:

V: 8 - Same as Dank, Pukka but brighter.
A: 8 - Best audio so far
M: 8 - Gotta give it high marks as this is my 3rd grab.

Posted by catflusher on 08-02-2006 04:20 AM:

the video is the exact same source as the pukka/dank release, the only thing different is the audio is better quality. should be nuked for stolen source and not proper since its still missing the exact same footage and the head is bobbing along from teh audience member at the 48:25 mark of cd1 same as both other releases.

Posted by dreamkrusher on 08-02-2006 06:33 AM:

V: 8 - Like many said before, slightly better than the others
A: 8 - Far better audio than the others
M: ?, I have still not watched it yet

Ill watch tomorrow when I get home from work

Butl... hey, if you are just a leecher.... this ain't a bad version to download and brag to your family about having!!!!! Yeah, it's a nice copy. Best rls so far. No denying that!

Watched this on the big screen last night.

This is by far the best release to date (and I've grabbed just about all of them) - saw it in the theater as well.

Video is excellent - good color, video is sharp and he audio is spot on. The missing segment is a non-issue.. I didn't even recall it from seeing it in the theater.
