My problem with it Qafan, is this... It's meant to be Sci-fi, not some one man crusade by Russell T Davis (who also created Queer as Folk). I agree that people have the right to do what they want with their own bodies. Hell, if every guy was as handsome as myself the whole world would be gay.

But alas, I wouldn't support any "fantasy" show pushing the writers own agenda... Irrespective of whether that agenda is pro-gay, pro-choice or pro-biotic.

If I where a professional writer I probably wouldn't have the time or inclination to be involved with a TV forum.

If every thing you do is perfect then I REALLLY feel for you. Tim

So, knowing the basics of grammar makes me a professional writer? Kick ass.

I just watched the last two episodes for the season, They were good but far too much man loving in it for my liking. Looking forward to the new Dr who season I enjoyed the christmas special, any idea when it starts back.

The new Sarah Jane Adventures spin-off was pritty good, and not gay at all.

ok, was at tv com looking at possible date for new torchwood season, and happened onto this link in the discussion board
http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/pages...in_page_id=1773

please, if you're Jack fans, don't look :/

My opinion hasn't changed that much... Torchwood is "ok" but still feels like a dumping ground for rejected Doctor Who scripts with added "fuck" and "shit" to make it more "edgy" and "adult" - it's so blatant and obvious that it makes me overuse "quotes"

That, coupled with Russel T Davies obvious attempts to play out his fantasies in each episode make it somewhat embarrassing and difficult to watch. JACK IS GAY, we get it, we just don't really care. What does bother me though is (frankly) I don't like to watch dudes kissing. No, I'm not homophobic but I don't want to watch full-on tongue action between two guys in what is essentially one of the BBCs flagship Sci-fi shows, especially when it's as tacked-on and superfluous to the plot as the recent "Jack Harkness" episode was. Not only was the scene at the end of the dance unnecessary but it was stupid... Being in the Army and having a full-on tongue sandwich with another guy, in front of a crowd of soldiers in 1940-something wouldn't happen. ok, having a "rift" open under Cardiff is pretty unlikely too but you get my point!

So please, Russel, for the sake of the hetrosexual viewers that you haven't already alienated, drop the gratuitous man-on-man action and get on with writing some episodes that don't appear to have been written by a dyslexic mollusc with ADHD... You cunt!

fixed

I know you're not surprised by all the gay content. It was always gonna be the case with Davies in control, he is on a crusade to force gayness into the mainstream, he doesn't seem to care if thats what people want or not.

Men kissing is just Wrong in so many ways. I don't care what people get up to in their private lives, not anti-gay or anything, I just really really really don't like seeing two dudes snog.

Men Kissing on TV = Wrong

Well torchwood is back and their's a ridiculous amount of gayness to this show. It like every character is now gay. Its worst than last season.

I was put off torchwood by the content..They try to soften it with an edited version for kids..It's a poor second cousin to doctor who that never needs censorship as it is not so potentially offensive.Torchwood needs rethinking.however You cannot avoid content on televison concerning peoples sexual preferences but the manor that it is presented should be rethought not everone wants to see it.It's a difficult issue to control when eveyone no matter what there sexual orientation has rights against discrimination.Schools and television hold a lot of influence over children and i think that the pro gay acceptance they portray could confuse young innocenct minds. If people turn out gay thats there decision and there right to be who they feel most confortable being,But it should not be a decision inflenced by schools and media pressure.
