i work at costco so i will just asked for the day off and get there about 5.00 am thats about the time i go to work anyways last year for 360 we recieved a pallet of them about 40 units so there will be enough wii so that i dont have to preorder or hope there are enough in stock for! Release date is nov 19 but nintendo said that they will have enough units thats the way they are going to compet with the ps3 the ps3 will only ship about 400 thousand and the wii promised about 1 million by the end of december!!! The ps3 will only be shipped to the united states were i live on nov 17 and in march for the rest of you or werever you live goodluck!!!

Think yourselves lucky. Japan, ie; the PS3's core market, has had its allocation cut from 100,000 to 80,000 on release.

Sony are soon going to implode up there own arses. Well, i hope so.

On the Monday that EB Games started preordering, my 2 friends and I got to the south location at about 8.15am, and there were about 19 people in line. Talking to the last people in line, we learn that the store owner just handed out tickets for ps3's and Wii's. There were still tickets left in his hands at that time. So everyone talks to each other and we have a good time. It was really funny, as the only other people in the mall aside from this long line, was a bunch of older people sitting in the food court. they were all looking at us like 'wtf'.

Anyways, the store hasnt officially opened yet, so people are allowed in to pay 1 at a time. Eventually, the store owner comes out and announces there are no more ps3's, and only 2 more Wii's. My 2 friends got the last 2. Man this sucks! im so pissed off i didnt get one. So i wait for the line to move ahead, and my 2 friends pay. After they were done, we try toys R us to see if i could get one there. Of course not, they had their preorders like 3 weeks earlier.

We're all back in the car and quickly pull into the North EB Games location, and i tell the driver to pull in here, as i had good luck with the EB at that location (when i preordered battlefield 2, they only got 3 headsets, and saved me one).

i walk into the EB and ask the girl behind the desk if there were anu Wii preorders left. she said 'i think we might have 1 more' and the manager in the back told her to be sure. After lookin in the computer for a few seconds they both said yes, i have the last one. woot! Just then, within 10 seconds of me walking in the store, another fellow walks in asking for a Wii.

The manager says sorry but 'even tho i just talked to you on the phone 10 minutes ago, i cant hold preorders like that.'.

SCORE! i got my Nintendo and just in the nick of time.

oh yeah, there was this one jerk in line at the first store bragging about how he's buying 12 ps3's and 25 Wii's and is eBay'ing all them. what an ass.

Just recieved a phonecall from Argos. Basically they cant fulfill the preorders for release on friday.

Said they are getting another delivery next week, so confident i will get it before xmas.

Better had do, or i will march round the corner to Argos and torch it. At lunchtime.
