For a quick release it's good, definitely watchable. But I know how people are with movies like this. The quality must be spectacular before they will even view it. If you are one of those people, avoid. It looks too cropped, video is definitely pixelated/blocky, colors aren't too strong and picture could be sharper. Sound on the other hand is very good.

all things considered this was an extremely fast release, with resonable quality, very watchable, burnt to dvd and played on plasma, yes there are some color issues and some pixelation, but over all awesome release and great speed in doing so!

thx mvs

I'M CRYING

Hi, I didn't post anything relevant to the release so a mod edited my post.... hmph!

Not too shabby. Yeah, there is pixelation, but definitely watchable. Good Audio as well. Awesome movie, saw it in the theater.

Only gripe is, though, they cut off the scene after the final credits, though. I don't get that. You go to the trouble of getting all the credits, then just stop there? Not that big a deal anyway, but...

ending

the filmer took allllll that time and went through the entire credits... just to leave out the final scene, after the credits, that explains something rather important...

Posted by El_Goodo on 05-26-2007 08:38 AM:

tru dat, why include the credits at all if the last scene isn't there?!? Hopefully this will get propered

edit forgot to rate 7/6.5/8.5

Posted by frak on 05-26-2007 10:12 AM:

watched this on the tv..

looks pretty decent overall - especially for something this fast. Only watched about 5 minutes of it tho, as this is one of the few movies I want to see in the theater this spring/summer. Good copy to have to watch after tho..

M: 6.5 Colours look ok, altho it is a tad blurry & pixulated. Focus questionable at times.
(Not there best release. but is definatly watchable.)

A: 8 I cannot really fault it to much. altho the sound does cut out for a second here and there.

M: 7 Not bad, A little wired at times but good.

Yes pixilation on the monitor but burn it to dvd and watch on the tv very nice early release

Posted by flyingmonkey on 05-26-2007 01:35 PM:

Watched the entire release last night; excellent copy for a telesync. Does lose focus for a seconds about 4-5 times, but otherwise perfect I would say.

The best first/early release I have seen in a long time.

Bottom line is this...its a good rls.
Haah Horton stop hatin caused u got bashed last week for that BLLLUUURRR... Those of you who are trippin obviously dont have a clue what it is to re-encode and sync. So what ...at least they are not copppin NY silvers and claiming them to be their own (((hint, hint)))
MVS is putting in the work right now and has abt the best quality these days...so it is what it is. Those of you with these lame complaints obviously have never had the experience of camming...or TC'ing (risky stuff). Take the good with the bad and rate it fairly....

video has one defect, AR is not 2.35:1, but like 2.15:1 or something like that, would convert to a little more than the looks of 1.85:1, but other than that, perfect release as always from mVs, thank you very much for this early release of the only film in this franchise I want to see this summer...

Posted by Tadge on 05-26-2007 06:37 PM:

i watched this all way on tv and apart from a few small focus problems now and again this is a very good rlse considering the rlse speed. Very good for a TS so soon.

Considering the lack of good TS's the last year or more, i dont know how ppl can complain about this rlse. I dont take sides either way with grps and judge merely on the rlse, but russian sourced videos or not mVs definately rlsing the best english TS's at the moment.

If we get a decent rlse like this 1 of any recent theatre rlse, we should be greatfull in todays climate.

Thx for the work put in mVs to bring us this rlse and props to the camer for a good job

Are you all missing one thing. Listen to the sample very carefully.... 3 seconds in you can hear someone either snort or crunch popcorn and then faint laughter, amplify the sound and you'll hear it clear as day. This should be nuked for cam audio!!!!

Please someone get on the case and nuke it.

I agree, there are a number of spots where the focus goes bad, mostly in dark scenes. In brightly lit scenes, it is great to watch. OK, the camera has issues. The section about 30 min in is foggy, and the fog pixilates, especially the right side of the screen. But overall, its a good first, and watchable on the 37" WS.
Sound is good. Movie is enjoyable.
