Finished watching it and the sound seems a little over amped when the big sand man is smashing things and growling... it may be my system, but I don't think so

The Audio sounds tinny, tiny, small, not whide whatsoever because its MONO! It may be encoded into 2Ch, but its the same signal (despite of some artefacts produced by the mp3-codec caused by the background-noise).

On a 5.1 system with dolby PL2 you will only have center-activity, really annoying.

Watched this on the TV tonight (well scanned through it, already saw an earlier release, didn't really care for the movie the first time).

Video is excellent, great R5.

Audio is great too, didn't hear any of the humming mentioned previously in this thread.

movie - like I mentioned above, didn't care for it, but grabbed this as a friend wanted to see it).

This is the release to get.

Whats wrong with you guys?
Dont you all realize its mono-sound, as I and someone else already stated.
Makes me wonder what audio-equipment you have...

Anyway, dont grab this if you're picky with sound.
I never watch a movie with mono-sound, no matter how good the quality is.

Personally, I would'nt say it was unwatchable because of it either!

M-8

Couldn't agree more.

Audio is slightly off but untill dvdrip is out it'll do very nicely

Very good quality for a r5 i must say, i give the video a 9.

Audio isnt that great unfortunatly, i give the audio a 7.

The movie itself was ok, not so special i give it a 7.

Hiya all

V-9 Very nice, looks good on my TV
A-4 Horrible, only on center speaker with chirping in all others
M-7 Fun and entertaining, still differs from the usual Comic-to-screen movies

Yet again the sound is spoiling things in these R5's, and I'm getting fed up trying to personally fix this problem. Sounds alright on the desktop speakers but I'm not gonna move them to my living room.

Still, thumbs up for getting the release out.

V=9
a=7.5 not great, but not bad either
m=7.5 some great moments and more boring and dragged out moments.

The sound was hollow. Play the intro on Spider Man 2 retail DVD and compare it to the Spider Man 3 rip. Big difference. But you kind of get used to it.

You people need to simply adjust your fucking surround sound speakers to hall or stadium.... something where you can get the sound out of all the speakers. And then adjust your levels

People who say they quit their dl because of the sound are foolish! The sound isn't the best but it's not as bad as some are making it out to be.

Ready for the DVD

We should all be glad to get such good releases as this - mono sound and a bit tinny is a minor issue.

V-9, A-7, M-8 (I liked this better than the other 2 movies, except for the posing man-about-town part which spoilt it for me).

ive waited for this rls before i downloaded any of the others and it was worth the wait

video - 9 great crisp clear as always by every r5

audio - 7 not perfect certainly has its downsides a bit hollow at times if only for brief seconds

movie - 7 great movie .. not as bad as the reviews have stated it is

Guess you never watch any TS anymore then. Because many TS nowadays are mono. And ironically enough, its quite possible some of the better CAMs are stereo, if the recorder has dual microphones. So do you watch CAMs over TS then?

Posted by theguv07 on 07-28-2007 07:15 PM:

Watched in Standalone

V-9 good clear picture
A-8 not enough bass for me
m-6 no-where near as good as the other 2
