its not an r5 its the reason why r5 releases were started in the first place... just do a google search on r5 ull learn all you need to about it and then you dont have to ask questions everyday, its a bootleg tc.

It's been so hard
but I can't let it die
Turn my head up,
looking at the stars
So many years,
I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

Is that slight camera shaking towards the middle of the film? Particularly around the 49.20 mark. I could be wrong but it looks a bit wobbly to me. The Pixar splash screen at the beginning looks to be on a slight angle too?

The Russian text at the start of the short film at the beginning as well.... hmm.... could be a Russian TC job, i dunno, plus what definitely sounds like line audio. All the evidence seems to point to TS in my opinion.

just started the file, yeah the pixar splash screen is defently a proof for mistagged.ts
even a blind one should see that. will try to look out for the shaking because i don't wanna go to that part right now because i gonna watch the movie now.

ts:

Wouldn't a really crappy R5 would be a telecine technically as an R5 is essentially a professionally done telecine, without all of the cleanup that Dvds have...

I'll accept this release, seeing as it's the best release to date. Doesn't look half bad, could be better, but good enough for sure.

V-7
A-Hard to tell, I only viewed the first rar
M-?

ok, downloaded whole movie to see where people talk about....

first pixar was not good for a tc, bad angle etc.
second was better, don't see problems with that one....
the dark scene's in the movie are to dark .
at the end of the movie, the credits turn into shit, last pixar is real shit
don't know why they do that...

other thing is, every tc in the past came into svcd/xvid/dvdr.
so where is the dvdr mVs? it isn't, because this is a very nice ts!
btw good luck mVs with your Resident Evil: Extinction ts or you gonna cal this tc also?

That's easy.. saves bitrate for the rest of the film instead of wasting it on moving text. I've seen that a lot on various scene releases that include full credits, even DVDRips.

Anyhoo.. having just watched the whole thing, I'm going to agree that this appears to be a high quality TS and not a TC. There's a bit of angle here and there, and definite cropping going on, which is typically unneeded for a true TC. And the quality just isn't there. Too much shadow detail lost, colors are too muted, etc.

Still, I missed this one in theatres, and this is more than watchable for a first-time viewing.

V - 6 (since it's billed as a TC, I'd give it a 8-9 as a TS)
A - 5
M - 7

Sadly, I didn't enjoy the film as much as I've enjoyed Pixar's other films. Won't stop me from putting the Blu-ray on my Christmas wish-list, though.

V-6
A-7

It's a mislabeled TS, but still the best we got so far.

As a TC:
V- 5 Dark, cropped to hell.
A- 6 small hum, but otherwise fine.
M- 9 I enjoyed it tremendously. Hopefully we get a dvdscr or a nice TC

Definitely a cropped TS - A pretty good TS, so very watchable.

V : 7
A : 7
M : 8
