nah i just got the standard edition. i dont need making of videos that you can download for free from xbox live nor do i need a cat helmet.

No it was'nt the one with the helmet it was this one , i only got it because i brought it the day before the official uk launch and everyone had already pre-ordered the standard edition.

It only cost an extra 5 pounds.

4 player co-op on legendary is just that.

The graphics could be better. The polygon edges and landscape lines are quite jagged at times, even at 1080p. I noticed this in the beta but thought it would be improved for the final.

The graphics are barely comparable to Oblivion.

M$ probably made Bung ie tone it down in hopes it won't fry even more piece of fucking shit 360s. Cocksucker$.

From what I understand, not only is it using an "old" engine but it's only rendered at 1152×640 then scaled-up to 720p... Which is why it looks scabby compared to many 360 games.

Then again, good graphics do not equal good games.

anyone who tells you that they noticed this is llying...

this game has some of the best lighting effects if not THE best lighting effects i've ever seen in a game. the graphics are comparable to ANY of the big powerhouses of games.

halo 3 is beautiful AND large scale, whereas in games like gears of war, you get beautiful graphics at the expense of scale.

-- i played 2 person co-op last night for hours and loved it! kind of thinking my wii is a bit lame until better games come out - im sick of everything being shit, a DS port or a mini-game in disguise.

its not the lower resolution that he spotted.

the jaggies are not seen by everyone actually, i havent seen one yet.

a while back one of the dashboard updates somehow disabled anti aliasing on some peoples console. this causes jaggies to be seen more often than other people.

see thats where i disagree. i think halo 3 is easily on par with gears.

if you put battles as epic as Tsavo Highway in gears of war, it'd be a slideshow.
