Triple nine indeed Great Audio/Video quality, the way only
PUKKA can provide, and the flic itself is pure fun and well made.
It has great pace, so time just fly by when you see it.
I recommend reading the book Monkey by Cheng'en Wu
before seeing this - it really adds up to know some of the missing parts in the story.
BTW - I think subs are not a must, but surly upgrade the
experience. That is because there are plenty of dialogs, some are
long enough, that are not subbed...
Watched this yesterday with the subpack. Really had no idea what the film was about before hand but came away highly impressed. Great picture quality, superb sound (shame it was not proper 5.1 but hey ) and the film was really enjoyable.
Will definitely watch this again when it comes out on BluRay.
