the overall quality of this movie, well this file, is simply just too dark to enjoy at the moment. Not particularly in focus as well... kind of hard to stay focused on main plot when screen is dark and blury... would actually rather enjoy this one in a theatre, but will find the next copy soon enough... sorry, not worth the burn...

Fast release but just doesn't cut it. The video is pretty dire. For the few guys that rated it as acceptable, seriously, go to Specsavers. Auto-focus has been left on with sickening effect. It shifts in & out so much I advise you should watch this release with a sickbag to hand. The colours are also weird, very cold and washed out, thin & cheap camera quality. There are also strange things going on with the frames/sec. You can see it happen in the sample but it continues through the release where it almost seems to be running at double speed for a few seconds here and there, probably a botched job at keeping the audio in sync-which it does seem to succeed in doing, although the focus is so bad at times you're lucky if you can actually see their mouths moving!

Shame really cos the film looks wicked. I remember seeing 'Temple Of Doom' in the cinema and that had it critics way back when. Then I couldn't wait for 'Last Crusade' which got totally slated-but I loved it. Now everyone's got it in for this latest edition but I guarantee that in 5/10 years it will be just as much a classic. Its the Indiana formula that works so well and Harrison nails it every time.

Rated as CaM with TS Audio:
V: 3.5
A: 5
M: 9

The sample is very blue!

Get the full release and on the same scene the colors are fine!

Movies looks great, and only fix you need is contrast and brightness! And your good!

Video is crisp, looks like russian telesync - Audio is direct. Cropped a tad bit too much on the right, but not damaging enough for a nuke!

Good first release, saw in theaters great movie!

7/8/9 Great finish!

One of the old timers that knows a little about what he speaking of.

I just wanted to say hey NEO been a while since I saw a post of yours. Of course, I haven't been around much lately.

I trust Neo's review.

::edit:: yes it has a bluish tint, but it isn't all that bad.

I think I will love this flick.

7/8/10 looks kick ass

As far as everyone telling people where to watch this and how to watch this, well thats all fine n good except i dont come here to get advise on where to watch a movie, Most of us already know where to go. We just wanna know how the quality is on this release, hence the name of the sight.
So take ur frwaking self righteous indy loving fat arse outta here and take ur inane comments about how to watch this with you.

A good point. Comments like it must be seen at the theatre are useless. That can be said for all movies. The task at hand is to comment on the quality of one specific release. Those who tend to stray should imho be reminded of the thread’s only purpose.

Keep in mind that the video IS a CAM source. We aren't comparing the quality to a TC or R5. Cams only get so good, and this one is in the top 25%.

V - 7.5 - so far there's a cut at 30:20 though

A - 5.5 - good enough to easily hear on TV in stereo, but you call this direct audio? it's mediocre for TS.

M - 6 so far. (1.5 hrs to go) - Ford's gettin up there.

Had blue (duh). for free and no flicker i won't bitch.

V: 6 (no flicker, edited the color levels a bit, not too sharp and does go out of focus but nothing to bitch about really)

V: 6 (direct enough, I didn't notice crowd or whatever)

V: 7 ... I don't recall the past indie ones but this held it's own level and interesting. I noticed a film error too lol. Nothing something I'd rush for a dvd copy but in time :P
