Planes terrify me, but I have flown on a couple occasions. Only when I was really young though. If I remember correctly I've flown to Illinois and West Virginia. No other places that I know of.

A lot of you fuckers are missing the fun of mid-air turbulence, knowing that you're safe but still with that niggling doubt in the back of our head that you could plummet to your death at any moment

Never been in a plane...although I'm only 21...
although my younger brother has flown a cesna many times and is going through school to be a commercial pilot, next time he goes up solo he's supposed to give me a call...
I've flown on commercial jets probably close to a hundred times. Out of that theres only 3 trips worth mentioning.
1) Single engine failure on the way to Portugal, no hassle, made an emergency landing at Stanstead no worries. About 15 years ago.
2) One time we hit some very hard turbulence, plane jumped, steward(ess) (he was male but very camp) headbutted the plane ceiling and sat whimpering for remainder of the flight. Its pretty scary when even cabin crew are afraid. About 4 years ago.
3) I lied, this wasn't a commercial liner it was me flying to France with my Dad, stopping at Southampton Airport for customs necessities and on the same day and time they wheeled
the aftermath of this weird shit past us. Saw blood stains around the window hole and everything. About 18 years ago.
Nothing exciting has happened recently but I'm with Neversoft, just knowing the possiblities makes any plane journey fun.
