-- Pineapple Express (2008) *XviD* - DVD SCR - HEFTY (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=82793)
Just watched this stupid random movie.
I counted 5 black and white scenes (and yes the first 3-4 minutes are in black and white)
No audio video problems here.
8/8/3.8

Definitely kicking myself for watching this at 4 am with S Belmont all over the screen, as I am re-watching it with the wife right now and HEFTY is where it's at.

For those thinking that the B&W scenes are because it is a screener, it is not.
The original film contains B&W. IMDB is your friend.
Not stellar movie but what is these days. Good for "guilty pleasure" entertainment.

I just skipped around a bit, but it looks and sounds pretty great. Saw the movie in the theater, sober, and laughed my ass off.
If they had a screener of Clerks, would it go to color every 15 minutes?
The Pineapple.Express.DVDSCR.x264-DEViSE release (samples: 1 2 3) indeed looks freaking great..! Same source as hefty for sure, they didn't blur the watermark tho.. It's freaking 720x288..! Seems it also has 5.1 audio, at least my player reports it's 6 channels, don't give a damn myself since I don't have a surround system..
Anyway, you can see the blur in the HEFTY rls in these pics (not taken by me):

With that said, both are very watchable.. Now get stoned..

Decent stoner flick with a handful of good laughs
V: 8 - Blurred logo at the bottom is unnoticeable. There are quite a few B&W parts but they are really quick.
A: 8 - No issues.
M: 5 - Mildly entertaining.
