-- vibration white finger ? (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=84470)
Vibration white finger is where, in cold weather, the tips of the fingers go white, then the sufferer experiences agonizing pain when his hands warm up again. It's one of the symptoms of hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS).
It is different to carpal tunnel syndrome. Although CTS can be caused by exposure to vibration, it can also be caused by highly repetitive manual acts or specific wrist postures (and typically affects typists and secretaries).
