(Why is it you don't use a Ants Movie Catalog/All My Movies/commercial database app? Not that I do, just wondering why you don't. They output nice HTML/xml listings, IMDB links, and auto-rip all the cast/makers info to give a searchable db.)

~30 mins later I put the DVD back in its case never to be touched again. I play everything off my popcorn hour now. fuck hard copy.

I'm taking this as a compliment lol since I'm also somewhat of a neat freak and have to have a clean house. Shampooing my carpets once a week is probably too much but fuck it I sure as hell don't live in a fucking pigsty like other people I've known. I constantly keep the place clean which was one of the things my Ex did not appreciate the dumb cunt.

i used to use these, but with 1000 spaces,
all numbered and a word doc on the pc telling me whats where.

years later i realize ive never gone back for one disk lol

Quite a bit of my old stuff gets watched ,one of the kids hooked out one flew over the cuckoos nest night before last reckons one of the best films he ever seen (he ain't wrong), and he watches loads of films.Ain't put it back yet mind.

i store all my dvds in file 13..if theres anything im gonna keep it stays on my hdd...one day ill figure out how to route my hdd to the tv and i wont need dvdrs anymore

Good topic.

I use plastic wallets and Nero cover designer to print just a single sided cover, then put them in crates so you can just flip through like with 12inch records. Good as well for when someone wants to borrow a film.

Have been meaning to do the whole Excel catalogue thing with IMDb links and stuff. That will be a big task though!
