Yes, the devise release begins in the middle of a battle scene with the USS Kelvin. Tough to make out the details of the battle due to the poor video quality.
I saw the movie on the big screen with my GF on Sunday night.
I haven't DL'd a cam copy in some time (I wait for better now), but I really wanted to see it again....
V-6
A-6
M-9
And now I am going back to the theater on Thursday night to see it again! IT IS WORTH THE $$$ TO SEE IT. I am so impressed with the alternative old-new story line, and with that, the future movies to follow.
I was never a big Trekkie either.
must say the actual pic quality is excellent for a cam but christ alive how zoooooooomed in is it?! litterally 1/2 of the screen is missing! i would rather have a slightly grainy pic than miss both the top, bottom and sizes of the screen. that said i did watch the whole thing so it is bearable!
V: 6 would be 9 but for major zoom factor
A: 7 ok and thats about all there is to say about that
M: 8.5
would like to watch again when R5 or dvd SCR is avail.
