What good does it do to show off how you ripped off the system and bought some junk? I've been working since I left college as I was raised to do and I earn a decent wage now. I may not like 9-5, sometimes it's a fucking pain in the arse and I'd like nothing better than to take a week off and do nothing.

But that's it. I don't want to take my LIFE off.

Seriously, what do you do with yourself? Do you have any skills? Are you teaching your kids a good lesson? What are you going to do when you get to retirement age?

I was made redundant two weeks before xmas.

It was horrible, humiliating and worrying.

I work in sales and when no fucker is buying it's a wonder I managed to get another job, but I did, largely because of all the reasons Jingo and others have pointed out, I can't live like that.

How can any self respecting human being live the 'dole life' on purpose?

Wob, my pension is very safe thankyou very much. No i'm not special, I just didn't take the risk of having my pension pot invested on the stock market. Its a simple 'money purchase' scheme. It's safe as safe can be but thankyou for your concern.
