You have no clue what you're talking about.

lemme spell it out for you one more time.

RETAIL DVDS ARE NOT INTERLACED. THIS IS.

Damn your so lame go to asia find me one 1 non retail pdvd (I mean a pdvd that isn't mastered from a original dvd) with this quality!! You can come back whining afterwards

Plain and simple:
A SVCD can be interlaced, even if the source DVD is not.
I'll leave it at that.....

DVL's nfo for this is TCF's lol

Posted by ek247 on 10-12-2002 12:05 PM:

The reason it's inerlaced is because it has been converted to a VCD.

Ren: My point is, 10mins after pre, someone mentioned they have the entire release burnt on SVCD. Of which, he thinks is a fuck up based on the sample already. Why in the world would someone burn something that they think is bad quality (rational people)

Yes, it is possible. But not probable.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, my math sucks. 1.5mbit is roughly 200k/s download? I download at 200k/s, and I can never get a CD(700mb) in 50mins, much less 5 as he claimed.

After reading reply's here for few months I finally registered to say how sick i get off all these pathetic flaming at eachother and at groups for no reason..

You must really have a fucked up life if you spent time argueing about wich group is better.. who the fuck cares??!!

If a release has nice picture and sound then still some idiots flame cause its not released by there favorite group..

When a release has good pic and good sound.. great.. good release then

And when its not.. too bad.. not worth to download maybe

AND THATS IT
Some people here take the scene WAY to seriously.. grow up man..

Posted by Redemption on 10-12-2002 05:04 PM:

This is great quality, and as good as SVCD's get, maybe TCF play it a bit too safe with the bitrate but i suppose that solves some compatability problems.

Yeah i think he's bullshitting im on a 1mb connection and i get 400mb an hour on average.

Posted by Figaro on 10-12-2002 05:16 PM:

Man you people are dumb. Noone said the whole release was downloaded. CD1. Not everyone is on dsl or cable. There are 10 and 100mb connections ya know. Siteops have the release immediately! So like your points on this great encode, your thoughts on downloading are retarded.

This is great quality, and as good as SVCD's get, maybe TCF play it a bit too safe with the bitrate...

Thats the funniest damn thing I ever read. The encode has more ghosts in it than a Scooby Doo cartoon (bad ivtc) and i guarantee when the retail disc is out, there will be a 10x better encode than this r3 shit. Do a search on google people, you can find these shit ass movies anywhere. Again there aren't retail 2-3 months pre dvds out.

Oh yeah emm retail has subs. TCF/DVL couldnt buy a legitimate 2 week pre let alone a 3 month one. Ive seen Seaworld Aquariums full of less shit then these clowns.

Posted by Fire_Sokar on 10-12-2002 07:35 PM:

Notice

Retail or not. It is still the best release out. Tcf did a great job on getting i doubt in my heart it is a pdvd none can be mastered this truly unique. It may be that Tcf's supplier had to rip the svcd himself and messed up somewhere no need to get all pissy and whine in threads. It is a great release no doubt. Props to Tcf for the nice pre. Maybe you guys can re-rip it. all groups make tiny mistakes this is hardly a big one. audio 9 video 9 still watching the movie though.

Posted by [EfX] on 10-12-2002 07:59 PM:

Can't belive how some ppl are bitchin' and pickin' on everything not to accept that this wipes the ass with every release so far. And kicking out a DVD the day after a so-so ripped screener tape is cool.

The denial reminds me of when politically correct assholes denied and did not accept how Bin Laden nad his fucked up muslim criminals were behind 9/11 even though we all knew it from 0sec.

Get real. Pay props to the nice people who push out some kick-ass releases. Some people are so negative and never ever let some people get the respect that they deserve.

To the chosen few: Kick-ass job, guys. Cheers.
